"People are wondering what will happen to Afghanistan when were finished fighting there. Im sure there are plans to rebuild the country, and a lot of times with rebuilding comes a name change. These are some possible name changes the government has been mulling over: Halfghanistan, Pothole-istan, Jenniferanistan, @ssbackwardstan, Bye-bye-Talibanstan, @ss-Kicked-istan."

I'm kind of stoked about this new asteroid mining system being incorporated. Prior to SWG I was a avid fan of the late MMO Earth and Beyond ( /salute all you Jenquai out there). I played an explorer class character (basically, a space-miner) and LOVED mining roids in the middle of deep space.....I might even have to resurrect my old character from that game and bring him to SWG. I guess I'll have to wait and see what the system will be like

*Has a sour feeling in stomach that asteroid mining will be as invigorating as artisan survey/sampling*

Asteroid mining might not be a thrill a minute but it gives something worth doing in space beside using your ship as a taxi, and unlike harvesters, I will speculate that you get some kind of instant result when you harvest an asteroid (i kinda doubt well be leaving harvs on asteroids)

Plus it may prove to be a less expensive way to gain resources (not everyone wants to keep a harvester farm going) and Ill bet the asteroid mining yeilds will be far less than a land based harv.

And of course you still risk getting jumped by enemies (I think of the Tat asteroid belt and how many dang Commerce Raiders fly in there)

Woha that sounds like a plan. Will it be for free?

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."
