Hmm...
So this basically enables fighters to do actual escort missions for crafters in space?
I love the idea since it'll bring some content into JTL that is somewhat lacking
...
OMG did you notice that trandoshan wearing a bionic arm on the screenie???

OMG I hadnt thought of that!!! Flying escort for miners! Thats friggin genius.
I can see some pure crafter dude out there harvesting, paying some bored space jockey to keep the baddies off him while he mines. Wow, some actual purpose for the space zones.

I'm most excited about the asteriod mining too...and its a GREAT idea to encourage bringing space aces along for protection.
My only complaint is minor....Rage of the Wookies?! I thought it was a spoof when I heard that name and had to make sure it wasn't April 1st.

I think this is the dev's way of getting around cross server lot trading. Now people will need to actively mine to get the new resources.
I wonder if these new resources will directly compete with the stuff we already harvest?

The statement was made that more valuable resources would be in more hazardous areas. (paraphrasing)
This might open up an entire new service in the form of mining escort patrols. If done right, the best mining ships would have limited self-defense capabilities. Therefore the miner would need to hire others for protection while mining in the more hazardous locations.

Maybe the new space resources are needed for the new weapon types coming out with the CURB? This way it wouldn't hurt the current resource output from planetary harvesters, however it would suck not to have the wookie expansion thingie as a Weaponsmith

hopefully they implement the 2 levels to kashyyikk (sp) the ground level where its dark and all the dangerous creatures reside, then the upper level where all the wookiees make their homes. There should not be any citys on the ground ecept for a few WELL fortifided pirate or imperial bases.
If they make the wookie home planet like endor i will never set foot on the planet. going away from cannon story wise to make a game i can tolorate, but to make a whole planet with a unique theme and do the oppisite is a whole different story.

What exactly is the point of your post, LGG? I've read it a couple of times and can't discern what it is you're trying to say.
