How do explain that I sell at least 20 swoops a week from a shop in the backwaters of Rori, still? Im even adding AR-1s due to popular demand.


BARCs are a blip on the radar, nothing more.

I dont know about you guys... but me personally. I was selling at a min about 20 swoops a day on the bazaar. But ive seen a huge decrease since CU launch. Now I sell one or 2 swoops on the bazaar and im the cheapest in the galaxie as far as Ive seen. There are a ton of swoops up for 20k and i only sell them at 15k...... so why arent my swoops moving?? I sell them on my vendors as well on two planets and all of the sudden i sell maybe 2-3 swoops a week.....


so in my case yes the trade has blown to hell most likely because all the noobs coming into the game after CU have bought and still own thier swoops....

I get swoops by the factory crate. While I have a BARC, it doesn't do me any good when its blown from beneath me....its always good to have a spare.

i usually use my barc til it becomes disabled (it's been disabled about 10 times now total), so i can repair for free at any player made city garage.

also have a swoop for trip to the garage.

Any ol pilot can mine. Any pilot from box 1 and up. A pilot that is 2322 is the minimum you'd need for the best starfighter mining gear, and that would let you harvest enough for a BARC kit every trip up. Starfighter mining is far faster and more efficient that trying to use the so called "mining" ship. I agree that the amount of resource per kit is steep, but your notion of the requirments to mine are a bit off.

LOL, 99.9 of the crafters are lazy? Then hire yourself out to them. You go space mining where depending on what resource it is, low to high level pirates will come after you. No prob for an ace though :-) But seriously, pirates aside, mining is time consuming. Its VERY time consuming. Crafting is VERY time consuming. When you have two very time consuming things you need to do, you choose 1 of 3 options. Don't mine. Don't craft. Or do a little bit of both. The problem with the 3rd is some people go to the same shops to buy things. They expect that shop to be full of what it had last year. If it doesn't then they will go somewhere else from now on.


So yes, go out, do all the mining you can, then sell it to a crafter. Also, if you mine the resources x2 for the repair kit, most crafters will make the kit for the extra materials. You say crafters are lazy, so become one of their employees. Work for them, a lot of them can afford it, and they can make money off of it.





Some people are like slinkies; pretty useless, but still fun to push down the stairs.
