Except what really happens is:

BARC go boom. Go to garage. Fix. BARC and me happy again.

This seems like it's currently the intended behavior. Repair kits would be used if you felt the need to spend lotsa money when your speeder dies in the field I suppose. Might still change but from the comment I read it doesn't seem like it's actually a bug.

Ok, Barc, AV21 and Swoop all have the same top speed on flat terrain. But the Barc and the AV21 have terrain negotiation where the Swoop does not. so yes, going from Coronet to Tyrena over water would be a tie, but going from Tyrena to the Rebel base, the Barc and AV would be there long before the swoop. So they are "faster" in that regard.

LOL! just take a ride on dath and see what happens to bikes, swoops etc. I didnt loose 1 bike to a npc before cu now ive lost more than i want to admit when travelling on dath.

Swoop lvl 10 hit by a NS Ranger lvl 81 = splat you dont have a swoop no more.

How this can be bad for you i really dont understand since i buy swoops by the crates now.

I know the people is going to hate me to say that but I'm waiting for the day when the BARC speeders come back to original owners and make it don't tradable at all like the Flash Speeder and Googles from special edition. I'm really tired to see vets trying to buy BARCs at ridiculous prices from noobs that in no way know what they are selling and the real value of this speeder

they are right on the barc having the top speed and the terrain negotiation of the av-21. this little bike is awesome. i count it as one of the best things they ever did in this game, oh and it flies up cliffs like nothing
