Only someone with very limited intelligence would post that crafters have been ripping people off. Crafters provide the things you need to play, weapons and armor and speeders, etc. You get to spend your online time grouped with others and having fun, while we empty harvesters, create, and try to make the best things possible to sell.
Your post is about the most offending thing I have read in my times on the forums, I will simply assume you ride the short bus and let it go at that. Almost entirely, I have been very supported by the combat professions on my server, through purchasing and through providing me things when I asked for them. Because they appreciated the give and take of 'combat goods' vs 'crafted goods'.
Did I make money? Hell yes I did. Why else would I spend hours upon hours doing it? Would you take missions that had no rewards? Of course not. Did you exploit the solo grouping where you could run Jantas and Mokks at 1 million credits per buff? I bet you did, so spare me.
People exactly like you are the ones that make crafters want to give it up. Personally I would laugh like hell if you couldn't play because what you needed to have fun was taken away by those you offend.
Sign your petition for a blue frog and go away. The crafting community does not appreciate, nor need, people of your inbred descent purchasing anything at all from us. Play naked with no weapon and we'll see how fast your story changes.
This is not intended for the majority of the combat players who have honor and treat the crafting community with respect. It is for people like this numnutz that post 'crafters have been ripping us off, time for our revenge.' I wouldn't hire you to wash my car, don't expect any emails from me needing your protection while harvesting. Countless honorable players have offered to tag along anytime I have asked them, without regard for reimbursement. Look it up, it's called 'BEING NICE'.

that was my life as a swordsman. loot. kill NS, get loot, sell, buy more armor. buy more weapons. it is gone now that the ability to solo high-end content is greatly reduced.
luckily i have a healthy store of credits from my days of loot whoring and have ample time to find new methods of making money.
See to me that is where the difference is. As a non-crafter in the old system your items were instantly sold and you had no "warehouse" of goods to make things to sell with. Now, in some cases, our warehouses are filled full of mostly useless things...so our money is gone. So I hardly believe that Crafters werer ripping anyone off.

i am personally a master SW/WS/Mer i make decent money i charge for my products based on the CPU of material this will vary any where from 3-10 CPU plus a 5% mark up for my time. being an iothan is awesome for ships seeing we get bonuses on some parts for ships that no one else can. my weapons/shields are the best on starsider seeing not many iothan SWs are on there. this is great seeing i get 15 points for those parts and 10 for most other parts. so depending on your species bonus in crafting you can make tons of money or min. hope this helps.

For all the non crafters out there who have been ripped off on everything from weapons to armor now is the time of our revengeFor all the little craftes who need bodyguards to go out and collect their materials and harvesters, may now need to pay a heavy price
Fool!!! We got guild mates to help us most of the time. An if no one is on we still got droids an faction pets to help us. Or for people with a 2 accounts or with alt on the same account. All we need to do is give Admin rights to the other char.

best way to make money now? get a reasoanable combat char and run as many missions from rotw as you can, people pay heaps for all the stuff you get as rewards, just keep what you find interesting and sell the rest.
