Ah the 125 level being used to futz the mission reward. I thought somehow you were useing it to kill the targets for you.

Um yeah running afk looting macros is an exploit. So lets not put that on the message boards. All afk combat macros are illegal. The only afk macros that are okay to do are danceing, sampleing, and camping. The devs have said this time and again. If I am not mistaken it used to be listed in the EULA aswell. So lets not list off how to exploit the game.

Interesting I thought they supposedly nerfed this over a year ago. ATSTs were blocked from attacking non faction targets along with the npcs being the same. Did the devs remove this limitation. I find that unlikely is the atst bugged.

I have to think your just blowing smoke, about something you did before switching to a crafter.

No numbskull. You group with the at-st since its a high lvl pet and therefore it raises the groups mission lvl

well

imo i think the at-st is an exploit, unless being reb or neutral you can get a 'pet', without spending training points, that isequal to the at-st and be able to get the high payoff missions. So basicly since they nerfed the solo groups all you have to do is go imp grind fp for about 12 hours and your back to makeing 34k a mission.

Personaly, i do the 10k piket missions, don't even wear armor anymore although buffs are required..its boreing but steady income that is reasonable i think

Far Far simpler way to make money and do does'nt require ANY buffs. Get artisan do a few delivery missions unitl you can afford to buy some resouces and poweror just sample then make you self some mineral harvs find a good spot for some grind steel put mineral harvs down with 3 days of power and maint come back 2 days later put resources on bazzar for on bazzar for 1.5cpu they will be sold in a few hours repeat until you can afford mediums and then heavys. Once you can get heavys you should be able to set up your own house if you don't all ready have one and a vendor. then you can sell grind for 2cpu or you can get some lots swaps and put down some statics, and use the moveable ones for the more valueable resources. You can then do what ever you want as you will never have to run missions for money

You have a quote to prove this? Didn't think so.

I got something better to prove it. This is a real secret that hardly anybody uses anymore lol. Go to the chat servers on the launchpad and go to say swg discussion, and ask the csr on duty about it.

Why are afk combat looting macros illegal?

That is obvious enough you are supposed to actually do things in game to aquirewealth and xp. While the devs do let you do it for sampleing and danceing and camping its obvious. These are generally long redundant tedious tasks, and there is no way around them. On the other hand you want loots you can manually kill things. High level low level and so on. You really have no excuse. Other then you want free stuff with no effort.

Its not like afk dancers samplers crafters are makeing tons of money for not being there. Nobody pays afk dancers. Nobody pays afk campers, and samplers can get payed but is 2000 units of hand sampled iron really worth getting in a snit about.

Yes people do complain about the atst nonsense. Most especially the CHs who have one of their skills totally devalued over it.

Don't leave your keyboard.

If combat macros are illegal...they why can you use combat commands with it? Same with the looting. Just don't be AFK....I thought that any unattended macro's are illegal?

i agree with the first post. the game isnt that hard that you need to do all these things. unfortunately it seems the devs made it so people can level too easily with this grinding thing. when i was new to this game, i had no idea what grinding was. when i found out, it turned my stomache. maybe its cuz i came from everquest a few years back, but i miss the kind of gaming where a big group forms- the tank, the healer, and a few other specializations. but allthings are is a group of buffed up clones waiting in line in cities, grouping only to split up and fight elsewhere, i dunno..

You dont have to grind if you dont want to. I actually grinded without grinding.

SFR (my guild) tends to get organics contracts. The Guild leader passes them on to SFR veterans who call the new guild members (and if they spot a newbie around he usually gets invited too).

This creates a nice hunting group who then proceeds to acquire missions (2 for each) all in the same directions. In one go you clear out several lairs with the Veterans providing pets to tank (or tanking themselves) while the newbies focus their firepower on the critters. Since everyone can harvest, Scout xp is ridiculously high and the veterans gain loads of APP by training them.

At the end of a series of hunts you have newbies who usually completed their Scout Hunting tree and have gained a lot of combat xp without needing either armor or buffs. Any medics/docs gain xp from healing anyone who needs it. Honestly, you can reach CH in a day hunting like this and without ever doing the "bore grinding".

Plus SFR takes the collected resources and after a few days pays everyone a fair share of the Contract profit. We also tend to supply weapons and armor to those who swear allegiance to SFR after one or two hunts.

I can honestly say that SFR has helped me get the money I needed to buy heavy harvesters and have all the stuff I need. Thanks to them Im quite well, I have 2mil roughly and thats plenty for me. Ive also been playing only for almost 3 months now.

I hardly need to buff or wear armor so im ok on that department. Since its group huntings its always fun and if you do get incap you always have someone standing over you keeping the baddies at bay while you recover. If a doc is nearby a rez is always available.

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

I am one to admit when I am wrong. I went to the csr forum to ask about the afk macroing in game. They say if the ingame system lets you do it. Its all nice and legal. For anyone who gets hounded about it you can just point to this post. I still think its pathetic though.
