Believe it or not, this game was a better game in beta then it ever was in retail. There was a lot more FUN things to do in beta and more exciting then there currently is in retail. If you didnt play beta you would know what I am talking about. Dantooine use to be scary to run around with all the mobs. You couldnt even get across LOK without fear of dieing from all the nasty mobs.. If you got seperated from a group in LOK you were done

Oh man, another person who does not understand/cannot handle the way MMO games operate...
Newsflash buddy, software drops in price over time. Bundles of expansions come out all the time. I saw Ultima Online: Samurai Empire on the shelf at Best Buy today, and on the box it said "Includes the original Ultima Online and all expansions to date!" or something to that effect. The price? $30. Does this mean that they're ripping off the customers who paid full price for the original and every expansion? No, it means that the value of the expansions has gone down over time and they are including everything in one box for a low price to entice potential subscribers. Would you cry foul if you bought an HDTV for $2000 and then 6 months later it was $1500 with a free DVD player included? Almost everything on the market works like this.

SO SOON happens to be 8 MONTHS after JTL initially came out (RotW comes out in May, JTL will have been out for 8 months). Cool it, you'll just look like an idiot if you go ranting and raving at Wal-Mart that SOE is now offering something that you bought 8 months ago for free bundled with something else.

ROTW is 24.95 I think
THe Bundle Pack with Star Wars Galaxies, JTL and ROTW is going to be 45 to 60 dollars..not sure they've said yet.....hmmm not exactly free.......cheaper than initailly but not free.

Are you sure? The official announcement implies that RotW comes with JTL for free:
"Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided™ and Jump to Lightspeed™ are required to play this expansion. Jump to Lightspeed is included with your order of the digital download expansion, Episode III Rage of the Wookies."

I am not going to buy it either.. i am playing since beta 3. Not saying the game is bad however just not fresh enough anymore for me. I know Newbies still enjoy this game as long they dont get feeded with uberbuffs and uberarmors etc.
However i agree with you by saying.. i am not going to buy it. Simply cause there are several really good MMORPGs out and why bore with the same old content .. the same old dynamicly spawning camps and lairs...
I am sure lots of Veterans will not join the next expansion.... and enough vets already left.
Guess i will waitfor SWG 2 thats all i can say...

If CURB is everything we hope it to be, then yeah, I will get the new Expansion.
However, if things don't balance out or FOTM type play is still rampant, then I will reconsider, but in anycase I won't be buying it right away.
Probably Beta-Testing Star Trek Online this time next year...

I'd download it to get JTL for free if CURB is worth it. Preferably in some an easy to write to backup format. Although I am sure I can find a way if its not.

I have been doing MMO's for many years. I know how they work, now SOE is another story how they work.. Your dazzled by the coin they are dangling in front of your face and not awake to see the whole story
