The vendor search went live and the galaxy didn't come crashing down around us. To anyone that has actually used the feature it's very apparent that it will have little effect on prices since items listed are so random that comparing like items is next to impossible.
give it time and it will the price wars have all ready started. And who said it would save people time
I'll have to monitor business before deciding to enter the pricing wars. I'm expecting the galaxy search to be irritating to most people and only slightly better than the previous system.

I believe you to have very little faith in the ability of anyone to use that system. It is QUITE posible to go in, narrow your choices down, and get a baseline price - And I have already seen people doing so. I have also seen Spambots & droids proudly announcing that they will NEVER be on the Galactic System - That if you want their prices, you have to go to their location only. (And these tend to be some of the better known merchants)
Then again, you don't have that populous a server either. How many pages is your Crates listings? THAT's where the problem is going to lay...
/addignore is my favorite command regardingspammers. If they're elite crafters who only want special clientele who can afford exhorbinant pricesthen they're not interested in my business anyway.

Well sometimes spammers actually have decent stuff for sale. Sometimes you can get in on a really good fire sale. I wouldn't say they're all bad.

absolutly... I once was able to buy 50 suits of 80 electricy/70 Base composite armor for only 5 million... because a Master AS wass having a leaving the game sale and the only way I knew about it was, because he was spamming coronet.
