we need a command for cities, like /lockdown
this comand should be able to be issued by militia personel, it would lock down mission terminal, trainers. such a command would allow city residents to interact with a city like normal, but not allow non residents to access cityfunctions, any feedback?
i think this comand would solve alot of issues, stoping alot of farmers in their tracks

sounds good. I wish they kept warn, so the citizens could go up in arms agaisnt people they didnt want in town, but I suppose the Hippies have even infected our games.

Oh i LOVE this idea! We have so many problems with credit grinders... and within hours of them getting banned the same group is back with different toons starting all over again. This would allow cities to really get a grip on problems caused by outsiders while making living in a city really worth while for players. What a great chance this would be to really put the political machine in motion!

I am in Favor of givning Citiy leaders and citizens power over their city, I say let them have Warn back and add this new LockdownIdea, itreally would help the game overall.

But you'd lockout the legimate mission hunters too. I think non-citizens use mission terminals more than citizens do.

Yeah, I agree with you there. BUT they might be able to put something in to do selective lockdowns like baning.

Im not sure that there is an overall solution to this. If you ban them from one city, they'll just find another.

am i missing something here? there is an existingcommand called"/cityban" ingame.....i'm militia in my city, and i (and the rest of the militia) have used this on credit farmers (they're always so ez to spot). it's effective, quick, and keeps those toons from inflicting the problems mentioned above. yes, they can generate new toons and come back but we'll ban them too. they can certainly go elsewhere, but if each municipality is vigilant, then the farming can be reduced quite a lot.
maybe i lost the intent of this string, sorry if so.

The idea was to restrict all city services so that only citizens can use them.

I dont think it would be that great of an idea because i am sure people would abuse it and not just use it on the credit farmers...
