That in the newest patch notes, the change to Feign Death isn't listed under "Profession: Smuggler" but rather just under "Combat?"

Is Feign Death not a Smuggler skill? Isn't a change to that skill a change to the Smuggler Profession? We all know you're nerfing the Smugglers, don't try to sugar coat it by saying it's just a Combat change. It's almost insulting.

Yeah, this change is a really big blow to the Master Feign Death profession.

Positive - could be a reason and part of a bigger picture.

Negative - you think that's insulting? How's about the fact that we can't Smuggle.... now that is insulting.

It just goes to show how careless the Devs are about this profession. It's like they don't even want to acknowledge the existance of Smugglers...

That Galaxy Wide Vendor Search is going on Testcentre? Many people say that it's no different from the changes proposed in concept, that were later removed - just that they've gone straight to test without giving people a chance to complain in another thread. Having read the patch notes, I can't say for sure - they might be different, they might not.

I've already popped in to check it out. Our concerns were all addressed - I think they hit a perfect balance between what we asked for and what customers want. Only concern I see is that on TC, it's a small playerbase - And with what appeared to be only 4 weapons vendors hooked into the Searcn function, there were already 4 pages. I can't even imagine what a Live server is going to do with the sheer amount of pages to go through.

So what's it like? Prices from all across the galaxy? Instant purchase and delivery?

Prices are only listed when you double-click on the item. The items cannot be sorted by price.

You have to go to the players vendor to pick it up.

Did they make any changes to the bazaar system? More categories, better ways to search?

Incorporating a search function where you can type in what type of thing you are looking for would be nice.

it would indeed, but I frankly don't see them going in to change the code to do it - All they have really done is extend a function in the new system, not created a new one at all.

I don't like the galaxy-wide search function because it totally takes the concept of 'location' out of the picture. Part of running a business is knowing that where you sell your goods is almost as important as what you're selling. The new system is just one big merchant bazaar except that you have to run somewhere to pick up the item. It's dumbing down the game as well.

It's also going to give many crafters and merchants a hard time because of the non-economic minded folks out there who ridiculously undercut their fellow crafters.
