For all of the crafters out there now is the time for our revenge!! Make all of your shops private and don't provide any crafted items to anybody!

LMAO! First off, no crafter is going to hire bodyguardswhen they go tocheck their harvestors, no matter how dangerous it is. And secondly, even if we did, we'd just mark up the price of our goods to compensate, so you'd still be paying for it. Have fun paying more for crafted goods. ![]()

Funny you say that. My policy, so far, on all crafting has been to charge what I paid into it with a 2-10% markup, depending on the popularity of the item (simple capitalism). I'm geeky enough to keep spreadsheets on the resources I buy and items I make with them.
So if I have to pay combat templates to escort me while dropping harvestors, so be it. That might be a market that makes itself, but pricing for that will even out as well. And those prices will go into my spreadsheets as well.
Edited because, evidently, I cannot tell the difference between a $ and a %

Just wanted to get everyones opinion on what they think the best professions will bring a character great credits after the upgrade hits. I have been asked for advice on what folks should become to make good money without having to be in space. Weaponsmith? Resources? I did not want to give the wrong answer so I ask for all to chime in with their thoughts. TY
