Thread: Eyewear is missing part of the game. You think it should be added?

You think devs should put eyewears in the game? It's the only thing missing in SWG beside the Special Edition: SWG you receive an eyewear.
I see lots of vendor has eyewears on vendor bazaar, but there is nothing in it, and no eyewears in the game of SWG. (forget the SE: SW that come with eyewear)
So guys, you all think devs should put eyewears in the game? We are badly missing eyewear in the game. We have already got hat, clothing, shirt, glove, boots, pants, armors, etc. in the game but we DO NOT have EYEWEARS in the game for people to buy it in business and economy on vendor, so that, people can wear eyewears made by Tailor or Artisan. I can't remember which one would be the one making eyewears?
What do you all think?

A bug when TC-Ahazi first went up gave us all of the types of eyewear....they were awesome! Especially the lobot-like ones.

Tailors have been begging for the devs to add eyewear. Please bring it in the game!

More variety of headwear would be nice too. I hope we'll see a lot of new things added as they go through the crafting professions later. The variety of clothing is nice, but we could use an influx of new things too. Of course everyone will look the same for a while after they add something.

some earrings and anklets would be nice too.
facial piercings... Can loot gungan earrings but can't wear them.

They should certainly add new types of eyewearfor everyone, but keep specific Special Edition goggles as Special Edition only

Well i would disagree, I bought the special edition and paid the extra $20 bucks thinking that there would be other cool things, but all it really meant was that i got glasses in game. If SOE would refund my $20 then fine would love to see glasses for everyone in game, it was supposed to be a perk for paying my extra cash and you guys just want it for free, you should have paid the extra money and got the special edition.

won't happen, is an exclusive for CE players. If anyone can get them, what to do with the "exclusive"?

The artwork for certain types of eyewear is in the game, not just the special edition goggles. I found this out a while ago when I loaded into TC-Bria to try out patch 13 (I think it was 13 anyways). I don't think I was supposed to be able to load into the server yet as I was the only one there.
When I looked in my inventory I had things in their I should not have had, there was a deed for a Naboo Flash Speeder, but I had never pre ordered JTL, so that should not have been there. There was also two new types of eyewear that I had never seen before. The eyewear was a monocle type of design, kind of like the fire control eyewear that helicopter pilots wear. There was two items in there, one for wearing over the left eye and the other for wearing over the right eye. It looked really good when my character put it on, and I think it may have had a little boom mike (if I remember right). I don't think I took a screenshot, I will check tonight when I get home.
I stayed on the server for about ten minutes, then when I disconnected and tried to log back in again about twenty minutes later the server was not available on the logon screen.
Anyways, the artwork is there for eyewear (one new type anyways), it seems to be just a matter for the devs to activate it.
