Brawler Archive

I was wondering if a character with something like Master Brawler, Master Teras Kasi, Master Pikeman or the like would be feasible, in either pvp and/or pve.

Anybody out there play (or know) an 'uber-brawler?' Somebody that uses only brawling - and nothing else - for combat?

Are they any good? ~J

Brawling is my sole method of combat... and there is a way to become formidable in PvP, but you have to dabble in alot, and it takes a long time.

As of right now. i'm a master brawler , master tka .. expert2handsword (0040) .. Fencer duelist (4000) .. and working on the Pikeman def tree right now. i also have some scout and medic skill

LOL with warcry not currently working the only real advantage to master brawler is the int2 and in plus 20 ... im getting ready to drop master brawler all together and go master tka master fencer.. get the really high saves on kd and stuff unless they want to fix warcry the only real thing worth getting as master brawler

brawler isnt worth having anymore im about to drop it, without the old lunge 2(NERFED TO USELESS)what do u have.

answer is nothing waste of alot of skill points to get what now intimidate 2 warcry 2 .... I think i can do better for 40 skill points

Except Zaytra, from what I hear, those immunities don't work either.

Better stick to Master Brawler - at least it's ... kinda... working ~J

I have no Marksmanship skills whatsoever, and use brawling skills exclusively. The recent changes to the game have improved a brawler's life in PvE combat, but there is honestly little that can be done to improve brawlers in PvP combat. Pick up some faction pets for PvP and use them. Group frequently and remain covert for PvE missions.

master brawler is a good skill to have, just for intimidate 2, however if they ever get around to fixing beserk2 so its not completely worthless, master brawler will be even better.

The thing is there aren't any Uber brawlers, SOE has turned this into you must have a gun/pets to win.

Master Brawler

Marksman 0400

Scout 3000

Pistoleer 0003

Smuggler 2010

And I still have 19 skill points to spend which Means I can pickup some Novice Elite brawler classes for some +5 to ranged and melee defense. By the time this is setup I could care less how many Skills you have devoted to brawler, I'll clean your clock(Or Feign death and live anyways lol

I've been one, it isn't that great =) TKA/Fencer/Brawler all mastered was the best all-melee template.. And really wasn't that godly.

after the nerf it seems i can hardly beat a noral mission or kill more than a few mound mites. The point of a brawler is that if they get close they do more damage than ranged people, thats why they have to get close, its their limitatioin. now that the advantage is gone were left with only the limitatioin..... and a few cool skills once you get WAY up there.
