I'm just wondering what you brawler types think. Should I still do it for the skill mods? Or are my points better spent on something else to go with Master HS now that the nerf bat has struck?

You can always surrende MBrawler for TKA, but if you want to focus on the Heavy Swordsman you should keep MBrawler for the skill mods, and still you get Lunge2.

I still think its worth it for lunge 2 and intimidate 2. I think they will end up changing Warcry 2 again anyway soon, as it still doesnt really work as intended.

Thanks guys. That's where I was leaning anyway, but I wanted to hear it from somebody who actually had done it.

I dropped Master Brawler when i heard about the nerfs (have master fencer). I got some CH and ranger figuring I would not miss MB.....I am gonna drop them and get master brawler...yes...Lunge 2 and Intimidate 2 are still worth it. So i get to climb unarmed tree again for like the 5th time lol

It halves the damage of whatever is intimidated. Intimdate2 lasts quite a while, making it extremely useful

So let me get this straight...

Blind takes away half their accuracy, Intimidate takes away half the damage, and stun takes away half their attack delay?

Take the blue pill,Ô
Play SWG, never dual-wield your pistols and believe whatever you want to believe.
Take the red pill,Ô
Play MxO, and I will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

SWG was never the game I wanted it to be, even before the NGE. All the NGE did is take away what gameplay SWG actually did have.

Blind lower's their accuracy, by how much no one knows. At least for now, we have the gentlemen working on the Knowledge base asking around as to how each of the status effects actually effects the target. Once they know I'll post it in the KB thread i have stickied. Stun does something, but it doesn't make them attack slower, it does, however, seem to make them considerably easier to hit, which is why a lot of people would use stunning attacks against defense stackers. Intimidate definately halves damage.

Intimidate and Toughness saves your armor from taking as much of a beating too. That's one of the reasons I really push their usefullness. It not only decreases the amount of damage you take, it decreases the amount your armor does too, making it last much longer.

Well thanks for that. Something well worth knowing, I may try using Intimidate2 more often in duels, or againstRancors it may be a good idea (less of them). I would also like to thank you for your template. I've been a Smuggler for some time and it never dawned on me to simply dabble in TKA Meditation. Such a good idea and so characteristic.

I still use Lunge2, it acts as a one or two hit 1.5 damage multiplier, and a great chase tactic.

Berserk2 is a great skill until you get Novice Swords or Novice TK. (fencers and Pikes want to use specials)

I may start using Intimidate2 by the sound of it. Depending on how often it lands and how long it delays my next swing

Lets face it, the Warcry2 debate is far from over, we'll have to see how it goes.

I've never used Initimidate... What does it do?

I'm not new, I just play using using Koma Hofuri (AoEvsWholeLairstyle) from theTen No Retsu Do school of combat.

Intimidate 2 and Lunge 2 are very worth it my opinion.

I think I would have been much more in fear of the nightsister elder I was going toe to toe with.

That 3k attack turns into 1.5
