Where would we like to see this ability go? It is possibly the most worthless brawler ability so we need to come up with a fair proposal to fix it.
Fair means not making it overpowered so here are some ideas in theory, which is all i wanna see right now, no need to start throwing out numbers yet since this is just hte brainstorm phase.
1) Berserk grants the player a powerful offense at the cost of their defense. Berserk 2 remains simply longer lasting.
2) Berserkgives us improved damage, at the cost of accuracy. Berserk 2 remains simply longer lasting.
3) Berserk gives us a protection against status effects, IE: so enraged and focused on the fight nothing will distract, at the cost of being unable to use specials. Berserk 2 keeps same short time (30 seconds tops, maybe 20) but allows specials. Huge ham cost remains.
4) Berserk increases AP rating on weapon by 1 level. Berserk 2 lasts longer.
You get the idea. Keep the ideas coming, let's just brainstorm for now, we're narrow it down to a few choices, then try to plug in some actual numbers. Then we can come up with something to submit to the devs.

I was thinking it might be cool if beserk2 was a area attack. I would also like to see maybe a speed or terrain boost to help catch those that would kite us. Sorta like adrenline or something like that. This is just my personal thoughts, if you get a good response here, I will include the majorities idea in the new brawler vision.

Perhaps B2 should be a toggle effect. As your using it your mind decreases, but you can shut it off at anytime. Plus it should increase damage to at least match the specials of the same level.

Its a nice idea to have some discussion on it, and I agree Berserk 2 isnt much use most of the time. Berserk was used mainly for novice brawlers to augment their damage. You have put forward some interesting suggestions but I would be careful to match the potency of it to what ever the marksman (masters) get.

How about giving /berserk2 a chance to clear any states you've got? Say, like 50% or thereabouts. Or would this be too much..

Ok folks come, pump some ideas in here, you aren't giving much this could very well be the basis for a good change for us.
that being said:
Berserk as a status clear...
Maybe it could be an immunity....
It would seem a berserk person would NOT be intimidated....being able to boost intimidate defense HUGE would be handy.
I could still see you getting blinded, maybe not stunned....maybe we could list what it could grant an immunity to.
But there needs to eb a reason to NOT use it, to make it balanced.
What would we give up. I don't like the idea of not using specials...quite frankly it would remain unused.

Mapai if you could, I think you being the brawler corr, if you'd throw some moreideas in here, or help respond to the bit of input that has been dropped, might help get the ball really rolling.
I could like the idea of this defense versus int boost, being intimidated sucks (see my post on intimidate stickied above)
But we don't want to cross out one of our own abilities at the same time (give ourselves a way to block our own best ability, would just make both worthless)
So let's think of some downside or balance.

Well honestly besides besrk 2 being the same only longer then beserk 1 it's realy pretty good as it is. Now I know as a tkm/mf/mb or ms/mb/tkm or anything over master brawler it's pretty usless but at the lower levels it's still a good special to use. For unarmed this is really the only special worth anything till you get ua3. If I had wanted to change anything about it I'd say make itso your attack is faster and leave the power the way it is. You'll still have defence penelities so I don't expect to see this being abused higher up the in the hybrid levels. Speed doesn't matter to most of those who are already capped or hit at 1.0. I could see this being abused if it had to a chance toimmune you to state effects or a chance to remove them.

hmm good ideas..
huge defense vs. intimidate sounds pretty logical for such a state..
but general defenses (and stuff like dodge and so on) should be lowered as a berserker attacks and doesn't care about being hit then..
should it affect speed? nah that would make it worthless for anyone who is capped at that (speed is usually the first tree anyone skills in advanced combat professions..)
should it affect accuracy? possibly decrease it a bit.. though armor piercing should be one step higher with berserk no matter which weapon is used.. actually IMHO the armor piercing thing would make it pretty usefull even as master tka/sm/fen/pm
i actually used berserk2 often when going for novice tka.. its kinda going afk for 2min when you know the enemy can't really hurt you bad and it'll take you a while till you get him killed (with specials or b2 making not much of a difference).. but loosing your specials and abilities for 2min is a very expansive exchange for the current effects of b2..
from Zos ideas i like 1.) and 4.) best..
but anyway it needs a change, cause its pretty much useless for any advanced melee combat master.. and even worse.. it can easily cost your life cause you can't use specials/abilities/heal yourself and such
well if nothing else's going to be changed please give us the possibility to turn it off.. (with /peace maybe)

as previously mentioned,I used bezerk as a novice brawler to help do more damage to the lairs i was beating up. after you gain other skills it becomes less useful as the new specials you have do more damage and your speed is up.
i didnt know that bezerk2 allowed the use of specials, i mastered brawler last night to augment my teras kasi master skills, i will try this and report back on that.
idea for bezerK:
1) since it focuses your attack on your opponent, how about when active, all damage done to you by others in a battle is ignored and only taken from the target you are bezerking on. in a fight with a group this could be very effective.

I really don't have any other ideas on this subject other than what I posted. I do read these posts and make recommendations when asked by devs, based on what I read on this forum. I do very much belive in pushing for what I feel the majority of the community wants and not just my personal plan. There are limits to what will be done, and all I can do is suggest things to the developers, ultimatly it is up to them to decide if they use them or not.But I will always push as much as I can for you guys.
