hey guys, i know some of you are here cause of holos, and some are passing throught o the elite brawler professions, i just want to say that Brawler is a BLAST i love it, thought it was weak at first, but i hate being like everyone else, pistols are rad i have the rogue lne if smuggler, but this is so much more fun

my point for this post is to get/give weapon advice for newbies, i know that everyone is selling looted swords gaderfi and axes, these STINK!!! dont get discouraged if you see bad weapons on the bazaar, i made heavy axe that hits for 90% more damage, and 20% faster than the looted ones, so find an artisan to make you decent weapons, it helps so much

i got really discouraged when i saw that the swords were +10 damage over my dagger, so i went to a smith and got a curved sword 3x better damage, and way faster 50%, than the bazaar swords, so save up some moneya nd hit up a weapon smith to get your brawler weapons, dont buy the looted ones!

if anyone would post the best weapon choices fro each skill box that would be great,

i love my 2 handed axe and will keep it till it dies, i hit for 533 at 2 handed skill 2, and 700+ with my curved sword at one handed skill 2

I love brawling too, and I also started as a brawler. I tried doing other things, but not even commando was as much fun as running up to something and hitting it with a large blunt object, or a shiny sword.

My recommendations for weapons would be:

Unarmed: Vibroknuckler
1h: Survival Knife -> Sword -> Curved Sword OR Gaderiffi Baton
2h: Heavy axe -> 2h Axe -> 2h Curved
Polearm: Wood Staff -> Lance

Pick up a VK earlier on. It will help out at almost any level.

Long Vibro Axes have borked accuracy mods right now (hopefully that will be fixed one of these days), so just stick with a lance.

Gaderiffi batons have nearly the same dps as Curved Swords and have nice ham costs and better front-loaded damage -- I think that they are at least as good as a curved sword. Vibroblades have very low damage output. I would recommend only using them for specials or against Light or higher armored opponents.

For 2h swords you just want to keep going until you can use that 2h curved which should work very nicely for you.

I used a heavy axe through expert two-hand. When I got expert Ibought a vibro axe that I used until I got novice swordsman. When I got novice Swordsman I bought a two-handed curved sword and a power hammer, which are the weapons I still use.

It would be a good idea to get a two-handed curved sword as soon as you get advanced two hand, but when I was at that point the two-handed curved sword was at master two-hand specialization, while the cleaver was at advanced two-hand.
