hmm..I dont know if Jabba still gives the Rantok sword...someone asked to buy mine .
I told him to do Jabba's missions and he replied that he had, but he was never given the option of getting the sword.

the rantok is a deliver or fetch quest item. so in order for you to keep it you have to stow it away in your backpack and redo that quest to complete it. he might have overlooked that.

I thought you could only get the rantok sword from the jabba mission, im pretty sure WS can't make them, wich was one of the reasons why they were selling for so much a while back. Unless this was changed in one of the patches.

Don't forget, since they revamped the Tattooine quests recently, you get a fair amount of loot and rewards in the process of doing all the missions leading to the Rantok. Once upon a time, you got a stone knife, a dagger, a rock, a pointy stick....

Woh! I never got anything as good as a Rock and a Pointy stick...I feel cheated. 
Rantoks make good weapons for people just into Novice Fencer, the +10modifier and reasonable HAM costs make it a more than viable alternative to a Gaderiffi. Later in the profession, the low damage (and your improved skill) will mean you'll soon switch to a Gaderiffi.

do your self a favor and dont fret over not having 1, i swear its only use is in the hand of a dancer, cause it looks dam cool but really sucks when it comes to actual use

hello to all the fencers out there. im not a fencer myself but have master brawler and i would like to incorporate the 1 hand dizzy skill with my scythe. i only just found out that there is a weapon called the rantok sword and i was wandering where i can find this as it is a loot or quest weapon. pls could you tell me where i can find this and what the average stats are pls. thankyou

Its a pretty decoration sword probably why you see dancers using them all the time. Your better off sticking with a curved swordor vibroblade if you want to land a dizzy.

Stats on the rantoks are pretty pathetic, since it is a "reward" for doing the Jabba missions. I would suggest using the vibroblade if you are just wanting to land a dizzy, since it has lower HAM costs on average than most of our other weapons, then again it is much lower damage as well.

Is it worth going through the trouble to get? I heard there was quest. You get the certification at 1 handed 4.

It sucks and you don't want it. I'm sure you still prolly want it so I guess I can tell you how to get it. Do Jabba's themepark, you'll get it as an item that needs to be returned to Jabba. Instead, put it in your backpack and tell Jabba you failed and redo the mission. You'll get to keep the one you stashed in your pack and still be able to complete his themepark.
