You dont need to use all these bleed shot stuff...

....just get a graul(or any other strong pet)and go to dantoonie, find something like a huurton or a quenker and send ur pet at and and start attacking... once i figured this out, i got the remainder of unarmed xp in no time

hope this helps

Find a novice medic to take with you. Then just attack creatures while he heals you. The medic will get a lot of xp because you will take a bit of a beating. Everyone's a winner then.

I met a medic doing this and now we group together all the the time.

The only advice I can give you assumes you have some marksman skills as well.

Start with your weapon and use HealthShot on your target. Shoot only once and immediately peace or unequip your weapon. Your target will start taking DOT from the bleeding. Now, pound on them with your unarmed.

The critter will take lots of damage from the bleeding but when it dies (almost) all of your xp will be in unarmed.

If you have any Trapping skills, I have found that opening an attack with a thrown trap helps somewhat too.

Finally, you might try getting a pair of VibroKnucklers. You aren't certified for them so you will do less damage, but you will be able to attack faster using them and that actually makes up for the lesser damage.

Yes, Tanstaafl is right on the money. I cranked out unarmed IV in one day doing exactly what he just described. I'll add just a bit below:

GAVRISOM'S GUIDE TO GRINDING UP THROUGH UNARMED IV!!!

Get low delay VKs (much faster than bare knuckles)

Use "Healthshot" (either 1 or 2, or both!) and as soon as they land immediately put your gun away!!

Making sure no other pistol shots land is important! If they do, your DoT will count as PISTOL XP instead of Unarmed. Use a hotkey to unequip your gun as soon as you see the green combat spam telling you it landed! To be safe, you might want to spam the bleeds in the combat queue at the start to make absolutely sure no stray pistol shots get out.

Beat the bleeding creature to death using status specials or berzerk. (you must land at least one unarmed blow for it to count as unarmed xp, btw. Otherwise the bleed will not give you any xp at all)

You might also look into getting some huge Health and Action pool buffs from a doctor if you plan on a nice couple hour grinding session. You can usually find a doc who will buff all six of your HA stats for 5 - 7k. This will turn you into quite the killing machine and reduce any downtime significantly.

I personally farmed Diseased Bocatt missions around Bestine for my unarmed IV. The missions around Bestine I found to involve less running than most other cities, and the bocatts gave about 350XP per kill. You can up that by having something group with you, like a droid (preferably a MSE droid) as long as it doesn't help attack. Tell it to "stay" about 50m away from the fight. You get a 20% boost to your xp by doing this I believe. Or, if you REALLY wanna fasttrack that XP, go do banthas. Hit them with the bleeds, run up and sock it in the nose, and then run away. They're kinda slow (especially up a hill), so you ought to be able to get away from it and let it bleed fully to death and get about 900+ xp dedpending on what kind of bantha it is. But don't even try that without the doc buffs I mentioned. Banthas are mean up close. They bite.

P.S. If you don't have any marksman skills and don't have those bleeds, then you are SOL and must just do it the hard long way. Or become a **edit** Handler..er...I mean, Creature Handler. ;u)

I too had this problem trying to get unarmed four.

Go to lok and take perlek missions, then find a master doctor to buff you and maybe follow you around ( i have a friend, but you could hire one i'm sure ) - If you get a good buff, you shouldn't need much healing at all, they're quite weak.

From a distance, use a pistol and shoot one with a healthshot (if you have it, just a normal shot if you dont) so they come to you and you can take them one at a time.

I made 30k unarmed in just over 2.5 hours this way. - and the money's not that bad either.

When I started Unarmed I just ran around Coronet clockwise again and again and killed everything. Later I got a pair of Vibroknucklers and took Vynock lair missions on Corellia that were in the same direction. Then ran back and forth between the lairs and milked them dry. Vynocks gave me a little over 200XP per kill. Not much but downtime (healing etc.) was minimal.

Killed everything on the way to and from a mission, too (esp. Diseased Vrelts and Crazed Durnis). Also had a macro for Unarmed combat that did "/UnarmedStun1;/UnarmedHit1;/UnarmedHit1;/UnarmedHit1;". I spammed that macro for every encounter so it would loop. The killing went pretty fast and it felt fluid because I didn't have to rest much. Still took some time though. Wouldn't really want to have to do it again .

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention also:

Get some vibroknucklers, even though you can't use them well (your damage will stay just about the same) the speed mod on them will make you hit MUCH faster. You should get about 800-1500xp for each perlek, and 1500-2000xp for the lair.

Try the feral banthas north of mos entha or the tusken camp north of wayfar. The tusken camp is good because there are always CH's there tanking with pets and medics working for xp. Just wait for a tusken to spawn, someone will sick their pet on him, berzerk and pound.

hey i was wondering if anyone knows a place to get more xp than here, these guys give about 125 xp per kill. but that wont be very good wen your looking to get unarmed 4,is there any where else to go?

Just be careful of the surprise you might get when you finish off a hermit spider lair...
