Hi

Everyone keeps referring to VK in the plural. You can't dual-wield vibro-knucks can you?

Not that I know of...

The S is just part of the name, I believe. For instance, "brass knuckles" has the s in the singular [ ie, you dont say "brass knuckle" ]. I would wager it comes from the fact that you have multiple knuckles on one hand.

HeHe...reminds me of something. I met this guy once who was born without ANY knuckles (joints) on both hands....

Thanks for the answer though...

Riddix,

Mission terminal yield is also based on what weapon you have in your hand...

My main char is a Trickshot [ pistoleer ] and a Pack Master [ CH ], and skill capped, and it wasn't until I got a DX2 and had it in my hand that I was able to pull any missions worth my time on the starter worlds. Even then theres critters that are tougher, which I can handle, but cannot get missions for, so I believe there's some balance issues with the terms.

Theres probably other threads you can find that will give you more tips on getting good missions; I'm sure theres some tricks to it.

Furthermore, I never get any missions for the critters I'm fighting; I just have to wonder around and find them in the wilderness. Its a pain sometimes, but honestly the "path of destruction" [where you kill everthing that you are able to as you go] is the most time effective way to get XP, IMO.

The first point, I understand, and tried with all weps and with no weps, still no luck. On the latter, that's how I play, and the guys I usually group with laugh at me, cause I'll shoot/fight everything we pass.

A little test for you.

1. Find several creatures of the same type.

2. Kill one unarmed. Check XP awarded.

3. For the next one. attack unarmed, then draw whatever weapon you are proficient with, and shoot it. Check XP.

4. In the event that XP is much lower in #3 try #3 again, but this time just before it dies, unequip weapon, finish killing with Unarmed. Check XP.

Assuming you get the results I expect, go find the bigest andbadest MOB's you can shoot.

yes but your not going to like it. I am also a commando on tempest and when i had to go out and get unarmed xp i went to mos eisley and looked at all the little critters running around the town. they give crap xp but if you kill enough you will get what you need, the trick is staying focused. what i did was basically go out and kill 5k worth of those creatures (30-60 minutes absolute tops, probably less). dont be selective, just kill the hell outta all of them until you have 5k xp and DONT do anything else but that until your done. dont run into town, dont spend an hour talking in guildchat, just stay focused on your dreams of commando. then after you get your 5k, go and heal up. it doesnt matter if you have 3 BF and no wounds, go heal up. it will change the pace, bring you out of the "grinding vibe" and make you not want to shoot yourself. i recommend having a little conversation with a few people about whatever, maybe over tells, maybe in the med center, whatever. do all the errands you have to do then push yourself to go out and get 5k more. rinse and repeat. it took me1 full day of grinding like this to get master unarmed (didnt have much to do that day as you can tell) from scratch. the hard part is is just going out and staying focused on it then relaxing and focusing again. i dont know if this helps you any but it sure as hell sped up my xp gaining for unarmed.

Just go to the tusken fort. Many tuskens gave up their lives for me to get to Master TKA, forget the small stuff, go kill the biggest thing can find. Bring a healer if you can't heal yourself, or get a pet to tank for you. But don't waste your time on anything that gives you less than 1k xp.

do a bleed shot on them and then melee them. bleed shot dmg does not count for or against you on a creature.
