If anything, maybe it should be the reverse. Maybe using VK's should not be classified as being "unarmed".

Then all brawlers could use VK's but would get some type of armed combatXP. But in order to get to TKA, the tree should befor totally unarmed combat. And maybeTKA's using VK's should have the XP go to some armed XP tree slot and not using them, the XP goes to an unarmed XP to further their career.

Of course, the skill tree and/or damage might have to be adjusted a bit, but Isn't that what being a TKA is all about.....being unarmed?

I'm goingfor TKAand really don't have a problem giving up my VK's. I have noticed that I'm hitting for only 1/3 the damage that I would have used with my VK's, but I'm compensating ok by being able to use my special moves quite a bit more (I never used specials when using VK's...too HAM draining). It's actually become more fun deciding which special moves to use depending on the situation during a fight.

And I know it'll take me much longer to get to Novice TKA, but what's 125,000xp? A lot...a real lot when I can only take down one gurcat at a time before having to heal, hehe. Maybe the numbers have to be adjusted a bit??
