Thread: Commando in training, need help with unarmed
It actually can be done very easily and fast. First get the fastes vibroknucks you can get. Second go to Talus. Find some Foaming Vynocks they give about 1k xp each. You need novice pistoleer to do this, but use healthshot 1 and 2. Without hitting with another pistol shot, switch to your vibro and hit bezerk. It will help to have a composite suit on. Once you get the hang of it its very quick and easy

Shut up NOS. I am a TKA. I know how ti fight face to face.I don't hide behind cannons and flamethrowers.SO GET LOST YOU F'n COMMANDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woh, not to be rude here but I think someone got there bottoms handed to them by a ranged ennemy one time too many! ![]()
I suggest you use the good old bleed/hit-and-run tactic. Choose a slow opponent (durnis are good for this, you can outrun them easily without burst run) and bleed it.When it's almost dead, kill itand you will get 100% XP unarmed. I heard baz niches (sp?) are great too since there slow. Hope that helps!
Atone,
God man, take a pill and chill. You say you hate ranged professions and commandos, well here is a reality check for you: THIS IS JUST A GAME. The ranged people and commandos you see are only polygons. You don't need to be afraid of them any more. It is merely software. It does not exist. What yousee in game does not translate to reality.
Do you know how foolish you sound when you get that angry over a video game? Obviously not.
Oh, and how can I join the city you are a politician in? Sounds like a great place to be (is it melee residentsonly?)
#1 - not all people are here to master brawler...
#2 - it was a simple, honest question
#3 - the simple, honest question --could-- have been answered with about 10 minutes of search thru this forum
Short answer: Get some fast VK (as close to 1.0 seconds as you can afford). Even tho you do not have the VK cert, you will do considerably more damage over time due to the increased speed of the VK (vs 3.5 seconds barehanded). Find some good mid-level critters, like kaadu on Naboo (what I did my 70k grind on). Kill all of them you can find.
Sagely advice: Once you reach unarmed IV, you might want to consider going on into TK. TKM/Commando/medic has been my favorite template so far. It is an excellent combination of huge DOT and raw, in-your-face damage. Drop a flame DOT on it, then put the FT away and beat the daylights out of it. Giving up TKM to follow the holo was the hardest decision my SWG character has faced yet.
I am no longer with that guild/city
Some people dont understand melee only guild and city
So leave me alone

lol, too funny..........
I'm also a "not all melee person" (shame on me) and unarmed can be hard to get, just stick with it and you'll do great.
And atone48732, shame on you for being like that with someone who didn't do anything to you.
