No its not counted as a one handed sword.. and you dont need to be certified with it. it speeds your unarmed up a bunch

thanx all once again for the advice I'll give it a shot to try to find some knucklers (even though most places sell for 10k and all i have is 7k but I'll make an effort)i have tried using health shot one and it does work.I appreciate you guys/girls sharing your advice.

I've never fired a single shot from a single ranged weapon in my entire SWG career.

Buuuuut . . . certain primarily ranged professions do spend some time to become moderately proficient in melee fighting, and that certainly makes them part of what brawler is about.

So let's try to keep things civil.

Find a strong Non CH pet too and group with it (but don't make it attack, just let it stand around while you attack)--it will raise the XP you get from each kill by 20% (may depend on the pet.)

go to rori and go to the farest starport the the west. Usually outside of city is static npc's. Bleed run back soit runs to you then kill with unarmed. easy as pie. If you have patience you get it to 4 in a day or so.

Stgabriel is right,besides,you claim us to be cowards when you knew in the start of the game that you could either be ranged or melee second of all i'de like to thank the people who supported me cause now my xp is going up a bit faster.Atone,JUST LEAVE US ALONE GOD DAMMIT!you dont own the world and you never will.We have right to be here as human beings and as players of starwars galaxies even more for practicing some melee skills.If you dont refrain yourself we will make sure this is the last they see of you on the melee boards.

YOUR ADVICE KICKS ASS!the knucklers are making punch in the speed of lightning and do more damage.although i still dont even have 3(I dont have much time on my hands to play just some)I am getting xp much faster.Thank you all you've been great help and you guys/girls rock!
