Im a master swordsman/tkm/master fencer and its ok but its not super great pistol/fencer combo is way better or rifle/pike.

My previous template before i decided to holo grind was unstoppable really.. Soloed NS caves numerous times. This was even before chef buffs, on power boost and muon,doc buffs, Composite helm with +6 melee defence, full melee defence bio engineered suit, composite gloves with +4 melee. I believe it was 192 melee defence, 144 ranged... total, 100 to KD, 147 to stun and dizzy..

oh how i miss the old days...

actually the samuri did use his off hand blade quite a lot, depending on the battle the kitana isnt always used 2 handed lol dependin on the style of combat the samuri seen fit effected the weapon he used, & the dagger like sword your takin bout is not a dagger sized sword at all its more of a short sword, the kitana blade itself is considered a longsword. for ranged they almost exlusivle yoused great long bows, (mounted & unmouted)

i have a book with the names of them. samuri were more like the elite military, some were just from noble honorable families

a ninja was the same way but mainly delt in assassination lol bare with me with my spelling its 3:14am lol,

ninja used mainly 1 sword but it wasnt a kitana again i forgot the name of there sword, & used most any silent weapon of death, shortbows were useed alot too the throstars were not as big as poisoned tiped darts & arrows tho

The "off hand" weapon you are referring to is called a wakazashi. The wakazashi was generally only used in conjunction with the katana for defensive maneuvers, a practicioner of kendo would always prefer both hands on the katana for maximum control and power. They carried a third short crescent shaped dagger called a tonto, most notably used for sepuku (if a samurai loses a duel/gcw he would have to automatically deathblow himself with it).

If they incorporate the samurai profession they would also need to implement a few samurai specific skills, such as being able to access any harvesters hopper if it has rice in it for their stipend. Also Artisans could never say no to an armor or weapon request, doing so would result in a deathblow option for the samurai to use at his leisure. Also, any peon that does not bow when a samurai passes would result in the same deathblow radial option (a peon could be anyone that doesn't have a master title for example).

ok there is a reason why he was own as brave FENCER Musashi the only famous dual weilding samurai.... AND IT's SPELLED DUAL!! I have a Bokken and a shinni(i forgot how to totally spell it) Dual weilding is fun but.. Another class doesn't need to be added to the already existing profession.

If they want to add a samurai type profession with dual weild make the weild not perm.
