Thread: Answers to the Brawler Top 5 Issue List from the devs.
I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. NONE of the issues have been fixed, LET ALONE included in patches. It's been three weeks and still nothing. It's pathetic.
Last night, I was inbetween Mos Eisley and Anchorhead on Tatooine. I literally ran onto the outskirts of a Valarian camp. Two of the five took chase. I ran and went over some dunes. I was incapped even though the earth served as no shield. Having bleeding wounds, I had to make a trek to anchorhead and pass out 3 more times fromt he bleeding wounds until someone was luckily outside anchorhead and healed my wounds.
Shooting through a mountain??? Please devs get this fixed. Please get any of the issues fixed!
I don't want to do as much dammage as a marksman, and I am not. I do want some better defensive skills. If I had taken on the valarians, I would have been at least 1/2 down by the time I reached them. I know because in the time I took to turn around and START to run away, I was down to 1/2 in mind pool.
Brawlers = unfairly NERFED
They really got to up our defense and definately reduce failure rates on some moves like Berserk and Intimidate. They cost too much and fail too often, and mobs even white con hit very hard.
Developers responses were not really encouraging, just saying they heard what we are saying and that they will eventually get to it. Usually they only start fixing bugs when they want to raise the monthly costs.
I think we should have a /stick command that allows us to auto-follow a target at an attackable range. Any ranged person can just auto-follow us, why should we be at a disadvantage? With lag issues and the extremely small atack window for unarmed fighters, an opponent only need to run away and keep weaving and changing directions to win any fight. If you try to run away, they just auto-folow you and shoot until you are dead.
There is currently ZERO balance between melees and ranged combat in PvP and in some cases PvM. Please address this issue or you will find a large portion of melees who avoid the PvP/story aspect entirely after their first several deaths to such tactics.
