70-150..pretty weak considering speed is 3.3

But with a good slice and a master using one, it's as good as and halfass curved sword....and is rare enough to turn some heads. I smuggle these quite often from Jabba and get them sliced and sell them to any fencer I see. If you're on starsider, let me know, ill cut you a deal

How do you get one?

Rantok Sword looks very nice. In fact, I use it for my performance. (I am a master dancer who fences. Doesn't seem to phase any of my customers though. I just get more attention and consequently more tip.)

I have three Rantok swords. It is longer and much heavier bladed than any knife but shorter than the curved....length is in the vibro blade area. If you know what the Roman short sword looks like that would be a fair representation of the Rantok I think.You can do the missions to get one or you can by one from me. I am on Corbantis.

I just bought some enhanced VB's at 167 base dmg. Can't wait to get these babies sliced.

The HAM costs and light AP will beat any fencer weapon any day. Except those stupid loot gaffi sticks with 4/4/4 HAM costs...

When i had one equipped it was about the size of a Rykk blade, if that helps.

I was fighting (dont laugh) Wookie Brawlers last night with my new character and I noticed that one of the NPCs was poking me with a Rantok sword. I wish I could have looted it off of him so I could have another. I would decorate my house with them because that's about all they are good for. I guess if I really wanted more of them, I could just get a buddy to run out to Jabba's with me andwe could load up on them.

Incidentally does anyone have a Rantok that has a Armor Piercing rateing or damage type.

I have to say I haven't seen what the damage type or AP is on one... honestly at Master Fencer and a bit below even it's still going to be as fast as a VibroBlade, it's HAM isn't really that bad (about Curved sword range) and if it was AP 1, then it would be better than a Ryyk or Vibroblade.

Better than Ryyk cause of the HAM cost and would be AP1

Better than VB because of higher base damage while only giving up some ham cost which can be negated a bit by a good powerup.

Get a good Damage slice on one and put the right Powerup it would kick some ass...

IF it was AP1 or AP2.

My brother is doing the Jabba missions now with the aid of some storm troopers to get the sword. We play on the new Chimaera server, and that sword is by far the best melee weapon in the galaxy so far.

Nice to to see the crappy loot you get off the missions actually CAN serve a purpose once in a blue moon.

Also along both sides of the the blade there are rows of sharpened hooks.......looks very deadly when examined closely....
