How much does a Rantok sword go for if someone wanted to buy one?

i picked one up from a magseal container at the Canyon Corsair camp on Lok. Stats were -17 on all ranges approx 45 - 95 dam. Looks cool though (had to kill about 40 canyon corsairs at 12,000 HAM each and all i got was 100 credits per kill, when are we going to get proper drops?)

1. Go to Jabba's. It's East of Bestine. Way East.
2. Do 20 or so boring delievery missions for all the Jabba flunkies and make your way into the throneroom.
3. Wave to Boba Fett.
4. Keep doing missions until Jabba's droid gives you the Rantok sword to take to someone.
5. Cancel that mission.
6. Wave to Boba Fett
7. Go home and enjoy your Rantok.

if you want to get several rantok swords, or complete all the Jabba missions, take the mission, get the sword, go to a bank, open an account and deposit the sword. Then go back and get the mission again. I managed to get 5 rantoks, which sell for some odd reason pretty well. I did get 2 sliced, one got a damage increase but was still pretty bad and the other got a bad speed slice. I stick with the gadefari (sp?), but like the way these things looked in the data pad.

you can buy thme on the bazaar sometimes too. 3000 is worth not having to do all that crap. but then you can't wave to Boba Fett, and you can't pinch Jabba's ass (it's easy since he's ALL ass).

Yes. Just remember to go west, and not east, else you will eventually end up at the Beetle Cave and nobody wants to go to the Beetle Cave. There is an oasis with waternear there though. It will come in handy if the beetles use a flame attack on you. It's not deep enough to swim in and there are no fish in it but you can dip your toes in it for a while to escape the burning sands of Tatooine. It's one of the few places on Tat with water.
