Good. Since i sold my rifle speed clothes thinking i would cap speed with fs speed as i should and the AEO bug sucks ass when you fight NS and stuff

I have this bug killing mokks, My strategy is strafe lair until its gone and drive away. When something in my aoe dies, im stuck on next target that hits me. I clear queue and use flushing shot on lair then return to strafe shots and it refocuses on my target, its a temp workaround if you encounter the bug. I have been sending bug reports for months on this, like since patch 8. Flushing shot is an area attack but is not effected, i am not sure the difference between the specials but I know it only happens to me with strafe shot 2. I hope that helps.

pre-pub10 the AOE bug not affecting creatures not in combat was not much of an issue and could wait to be fixed in the revamp. this new version of it causes massive problems in PVE. you can be assured that if this bug affected jedi it would be fixed yesterday.


i would be happy if it merely reverted to pre-pub10 functionality.

I first noticed this problem on TC, with an alt, using the unarmed AoE's. It's not just Rifles that are affected. I don't know what happened, but MOB's that try to evade seem to be triping up code here. I would find myself unable to target things right next to me and stay on things out of range. The queue really acted odd in this condition and I had to switch to a ranged weapon, kill the critter I was stuck on, and then switch back to the unarmed AoE. It's a REAL NIGHTMARE with that weapon delay.

It would seem that Jedi are not affected, as this is still happening... yes, that was sarcasm... dripping with it, in fact.

strafe2, rancors 6 of them. it would not stop attacking one that was about to die. could not peace out. switched to stun baton. my graphics shows that i am holding a stun baton, but i was still strafing for about 20 secs.







I've had this problem too, it won't stop attacking the one that's almost dead.

To avoid this nasty bug ...(I died twice cause of it..) the only solution is not to spam too many strafe shot at the same time and not to have a too long combat queue...

this is a huge problem, the only time i got into trouble was with the defliers, my mind got hit with a 350 tick disease, i had 3 defiles on me (2 near dead the other full HAM)... i got stuck attacking the full HAM one before i could kill the 2 near dead ones... 3 more had spwaned when i killed the full HAM one, i just cut my loses and hopped on my bike... lost the agro and meditated the disease off... i took 1500 points of mind disease in very little time... i'm also happy i didn't get hit on the other 2 HAM bars while i got stuck not being able to change targets... otherwise i'd be cloning with 1/1/1 HAM (done it before not fun)...

This is the same as I found today, whenever something I'm not directly targetting is killed by my AOE I get bugged. Didn't know how to fix it tho so it completely screwed my cash grind on enraged rancor lairs so I won't be able to afford the +6 rifle speed CA coming up of Farstar trade on Sunday
