Thread: Ok Intimidate2 and Warcry2 need to have an AOE effect instead of a cone effect.

Ah, good to know. I will integrate this into my current style.

Intimidate doesn't have a cone effect does it?

i would agree it would be nice to have an area effect...

but here is a question, does anybody have to use warcry2 six or more times to get it to work sometimes? i have tried warcry about ten times which drained me to pretty much nothing for hams, on a male kaadu while i was working on my teras kasi skills so i just switched to my hammer and killed it in a couple of regular attacks.

I am averaging aboutone out of three times for Warcry II / Intimidate IIto stick. Much better sticking stats than I had at novice.

Get some BE clothes and it'll stick even better.

I am just curious about one small thing that I was unsure of, does warcry have a timer where it can only be used a certain amount of times every hour or every 10 minutes or whatever?

Thanks

Ironically, Smugglers get a ranged warcry that sticks when the shot hits you which is 99% of the time if the smuggler has any pistoleer skills. Hardly seems right that brawler warcry fails so often without BE clothing.

There is a grace period of 30 seconds for critters when you succeed with a warcry from the time it actually strikes it. After that, you can use warcry again on it.

Apart from that, for175 HAMper Warcry 2 (as with my current stats) they should succeed 100% of the time; right now I can fail as often as 5 or 6 times in a row easily, so I'd be dead w/obuffs. (Which I would be anyway as a pikeman but that's another issuefor a different board )

I use warcry/intimidate ALL the time when lvling on Dant. I dont think I would be as successful without it. So, I bought a bandolier and a reinforced workshirt. The success rate is incredible now, it is well worth the investment.
