Thread: TKA v. Fencer? Damage and speed
At master level both have about same speed. Tka does more damage but in PvP currently CD on fencers with high dodge makes them so hard to hit. In pve fencers have edge of fighting higly armored opponents due their bleeds and higher AP than Tka's.
And fencers can do stun damage which ignores most armor while tka can only do kinetic .
Just by the way ... has anyone seen a single doge coming out of an intimidated baldemaster ? i havent ......
"Well, I'd say that bleeds are slated for some balancing and therefore any edge from them will probably be lost (currently bleeds are rather powerful because they ignore armor). But then everything is going to be rebalanced soon.
StGabe."
Bah, that sucks. Bleeds are one of the very few advantages the other melee's have over tka's.
well im blademaster and intimidate does nt effect my dodge I know what does but hey that would be telling

While TKA *is* stronger for raw damage output, that's far from everything. If two characters were to fight, with no skills used from other classes, passive or active, a Blademaster is far more likely to win. If both are in armor with heals and melee defenses added in, it becomes more even.
The real question for who wins a fight between these professions isn't so much how much damage a hit, etc. It's how they fight, use their specials, and how well they play their class. The only melee profession I've fought against that seemed seriously lacking and underpowered was Pikeman.
