Thank you very much for explaining that. I was always wondering why my warcry would hit saying opponent was delayed for 10 secs. i would continue to attack and he continued as well. Now it makes perfect sense. I can't wait to try it out when i get home!!

I am a master BH with unarmed 4. I've had very limited success with warcry 1. About 75% of the time, nothing happens. I tried the macro, but still didn't seem to help. Basically, I'm trying to use a warcry after a knockdown, so I can switch weapons to my LLC (5 second weapon switch delay), and then hit the target while down.I've only gotten it to work a couple times; most of the time, it never even executes the /warcry command. Any advice?

Try putting in a small /pause, like a 0.1 or something like that.

Nice, I just started using warcry last night and was trying to figure out how to use it. This will help. I had an addition to the macro to help you know when warcry is ending:

/warcry2;
/pause 1;
/peace;
/alarmAddIn 0 15 \#ffff00Warcry is about to wear off\#;

You can change the time on it (the 15), but this will give you a message when you need to be ready to attack again. Not useful in all cases esp. not once you get it figured out real well, but it would help someone new with it such as myself figure out what they have to work with.
Question: What is the cooldown time on Warcry?

Okay, warcry is still useful.......to some. Only problem is a good set of armor and doc buffs and possibly entertainer buffs (not always needed depending on the mob though) and you have no need for warcry.
With these 3 things and the currently unbalancing issues in the game right now, there is no need for warcry at all. in the time it takes to first of all get warcry to work (it doesn't always work on the first try and on higher level mobs rarely works at all), I can do more damage, heal if needed using medic skills and get up to 15 - 20 hits in depending on if your speed capped or not.
really, for a brawler class, the only thing you have to worry about these days are ranged opponents....you typically take more damage from ranged opponents....but with the right preperation, you don't have to worry about that much either.
I have played every combat profession and have yet seen a need for warcry where it will benefit me more than just going ahead and take the couple of seconds to heal myself and finish the mob off.
For example, fighting a night sister elder.....she can barely get my mind pool down to half.....I don't even need to heal.....now other than Krayts or Kimos or SBD's.....there is no other mob in the game that my mind won't stand up to once you get doc buffs, entertainer buffs, chef foods, use COB and beat down your opponent rather than using warcry.
it was useless before the nerf and it's even more useless after the new nerf.
Okay, being the realest that I am.....I can say that for a noob or someone who only have brawler skills, is grinding xp and/or have no armor, defenses or money for buffs.....then warcry is probably their third best special......but then if your in this situation, you have no business fighting more than 2 creatures at one time......and honestly, you have no business in PVP unless your a master of at least one elite profession in which case you shouldn't need warcry.

try /warcrying and then knocking down the opponet

shouild be...
intimadate
then knockdown ( easier to stick )
then warcry
then peace ( so you do not break the the warcry )
Cloths to help with intimadate and warcry are easy to find now days ( can be made by talors and BE.

for the guy that wants to use the llc with wc, just spam wc till it lands, then manually peace out and switch. WC doesn't break itself (yet), so if you accidentally do it a couple more times then it's no big deal. this method does require buffs, but i imagine that if you're an mbh with ua4 then you don't have medic anyway, and therefore rely on buffs to fight.

im a master sword master fencer master brawler. i love using warcry2 in emergency situations when i dont have amedic classnear by. especially if i am in the sword mode and my ham is making me panic. i will slowly work out of my normal attack range hit warcry2 swap over to fencer and do what ever i can to keep them at 20 meters while i pray my ham regens or i can get to a medic. it has really helped me regen and keep from dying in pve and pvp

Just a quick question regarding using Warcry 2 during base raids, would a delay prevent someone from shutting down the base destruction timer? Or is it just attacks that it delays.
Sorry if this is a stupid question.
