Well it's only handy for intim2. Used to rock with warcry2 though, probably was the best skill in the game.

My personal opinion is that for TKMs and Fencers it's not really worth it. For pikeman it's worth it if you can't afford to spend millions on speed capping and I'd say it's definately worth it for Swordsman for the extra accuracy, lunge 2 for the KD, the extra speed and intim2 and warcry2 are just a nice bonus imo.

Its worth it for every melee profession without a doubt. I really really really wish i could fit it into my melee bh template as in my opinion its by far the best secondary profession for any melee user that pvp's.
You get +5 speed which helps with pikes and swords greatly
You get +5 accuracy which helps with everything in pvp, especially against jedi
You get a ranged KD attack that works up to 20m away. Someone running from you ? put them on their arse, what could be better. Also really really important to fencers and swordsman as neither get their own kd and its nice to have both a posture down and a kd as they work on seperate timers so you can keep your opponent on their arse for longer.
You get Intimidate 2, lasts twice as long as intim 1 so need to apply it half as often therefor more time spent slapping them about.
Finally you get Warcry 2 and what more could you want ? Delay your opponent and all others in a cone affect radius for 20 seconds ? Yes fookin please
I have been playing since release date and pvping for the majority of that time and i can assure you that as a melee fighter you wont spend the points more wisely.
The only proff that i would actually consider giving it a miss with is TKM though as you cap speed, have plenty of accuracy and already posess a strong kd attack but i personally would still take it just for warcry 2

Thanks very much to everyone. I picked up Master Brawler last night and am so far very much enjoying intimidation2 and the lunge2 attacks.

Mastering Brawler is almost necessary to be a threat in your later years as an Elite fighter. The bonus damage is a plus, berserk 2, you speed cap quicker, and the bonus to your defenses.

I'm not really looking to PvP. Mostly Im trying to make a template where I can happily pound on a Krayt with my guildmates. I used to sit on a distant sand dune with my T21 and just spam mind attacks, now I want to get into the thick of things.
I can clearly see the advantage of Intimidate2 and Lunge2. I just have a quick question regarding WarCry. Does it stop the target attacking for 10-20 seconds and they can still move, or does it fix them in place but they can still attack, and if you then hit them does this then negate the WarCry effect, (much like the adhesive traps do).

> Does [warcry] stop the target attacking for 10-20 seconds and they can still move?
Yes. They can't do anything that goes in the combat queue. Attacking, healing, switching weapon etc.
> if you then hit them does this then negate the WarCry effect?
Yes. Or if your DoT ticks. But not if you intimidate them...
DISCLAIMER: Above answers may be inaccurate depending on which bug(s) warcry is suffering from at time of reading.

So warcry is usefull when trying to run away, but when you want to stick around on pound on a target, its going to be a waste.

Warcry buys you time to heal, take food, place an intimidate and so on.
