Master swordsman (speed capped)
Master brawler
Master fencer
Medoc 2040
massive damage output, good defences and good healing, all you really need to solo high end stuff efficiently
I am speed capped and I out damaged a master commando and Tkm put together!

When you guys say speed capped, do you mean with skill tapes and attachments?

Yes, you need to be ~95 speed, whether it come from FS skills or SEA's. That means you need a +3 tape beyond master brawler and the melee speed line. Also, the extra toughness from brawler and intim2 make a huge difference.
Commando does not work well against an elder, as even though they have resistance to blast, it is still heavy armor, and would take forever, especially without pistoleer to speed it up (with launcher pistol).
They are 100% to heat, so flamethrowers won't touch em....
I have to second the swordsman, I can outdamage burning commando's for looting rights (only did it once to prove a point) on Krayts. Hit3 at speed cap will get you looting rights against anyone else but another swordsman with a better hammer, or a rifleman with a T21. I wouldn't even consider doing ancients without a group as they will cause you so much wear on your equipment, for no guaranteed payout, to make it worthwhile.
I am presently master brawler, swords, and tkm, with the 2040 medic and the rest in FS skills. I would dabble instead of tkm, except I am using it to grind exp and having 2 melee profs to cap exp cuts the number of trips I make in 1/2.

master brawler/swords/fencer/some medic/some fs skills if wanted.
With this template you can tank pretty much everything in the game hands down

pretty much same answer as everyone else.
I use Master Sword/ Mater Brawler/ TKM/ fencer/ 0040 medic

Master RIfleman, Brawler 4xxx, TKM, Medic 2x4x, Pistoleer xx4x, Marksman 44xx. You will chop down a Giant Canyon in 15 mins. Use your T21, Intimidate. Did 18 yesterday with this template.

That's exactly my template. I also have combat prowess 0044, though. I don't have speed tapes, but with master brawler and the Force speed line, I attack about every 1.1 seconds with my acklay hammer. With a 744 damage hammer, I can drop Elder's in about 8 minutes, and canyon krayts in about 15-20 minutes. Giants take a tiny bit longer than canyons only because of their dizzy.

thats an awful lot of grinding just to be nerfed into oblivion when the CU hits and you cant solo anything. persoanlly, id suggest just going to TC5 once the character terminals go up and trying out all teh profs

Burn DoT's from flamers don't care about resistances. 100% res heat still burns, still dies.
Always been smuggler. I switched from m. swords with some defense stacking from tk and pistols to commando because commando is by far, in my opinion, at taking down anything big. The time it takes me to drop *anything* is based on its HAM rather than resists. You just can't tank to save your life
As a side note, as a speed capped swordsman, I carved a bloody path through hoards of upper-mid ranged npcs. It was far better for killing lots of things really fast.
