· Are you knowledgeable about the Brawler profession?

· Are you a community leader?

· Can you objectively identify relevant issues and distinguish them from simply passionate arguments?

· Do you like organizing information and corresponding with other members of a community?

The Development Team is looking for a volunteer correspondent for the Brawler Profession. Participation is completely voluntary and you can stop helping out at any time. We’re just looking for someone who can help us sort through the various issues for this profession.

Some things that you need to consider when applying:

· Developing online games takes a long time. Results happen with long time involvement.

· Player Correspondents should be leaders in their community and set a positive tone.

· Player Correspondents should understand the technical aspects of playing the profession and the needs of their community.

· Player Correspondents should be in touch with the communities concerns, understanding the essence of why players pursue their chosen profession.

· Please include your forum name in the letter

If this is something you are interested in, please write a short paragraph on why you think you would be a good candidate and email it to [email protected]. Please putBrawler Correspondent in the Subject Line. By submitting this email to us, you agree to allow us to contact you in connection with Star Wars Galaxies and agree that all correspondence with and material submitted to SOE will be the exclusive property of SOE and SOE may use such materials without limitation and in its sole discretion.

After we have reviewed the submissions, we will pick one person to be our correspondent. We will set them up with a special community title here on the forums and ask them to help highlight for us the relevant issues relating to this profession.

We will still continue to monitor the forums and read as many threads as we can. The correspondent is just to help us focus on the top issues and community concerns of the profession.

Thank you.

Can I just ask then, seen as though we need a Brawler Correspondent. How did the Warcry2 skill get changed and become totally and utterly useless without any of thepast correspondents and community members views been listened to?

Do we really need a correspondent when you dont listen to what he/she says anyway?

I'd like to take the time to tell you that this is not how it works. The Devs must examine the big picture, and even though, in the short term, it looks like you might be getting shafted, it's for the over all betterment of the game.

So why do you read our boards if we are not interesting for you??

IMHO, Brawler is the best profession, it's the basis, it's the essence. I just love brawler !! And the brawler correspondent is also in charge of the whole "brawler-related content", so that covers TKA, Pikeman, Swordsman and Fencer.

You got to be kidding right? Have you ever even been a Master Brawler before? It is unlike all the other novice professions in that it gives you skills that you will still use no matter how uber you think you are. Lunge2, Warcry2, Intimidate2, more speed, toughness and accuracy is what you get for being a master. Compare just the skills alone with elite profession skills and they will give you a run for your money. So don't go calling Brawler not a real profession, IMO its the one profession everyone should have mastered.

Do not fed the trools.

He was obviously fishing for a response. Or he's mentally handicapped. Either way, we shouldn't provoke him.

I definitely hope we get a good brawler correspondent, but it is a tough job. Look how long it has taken to get the brawler to this point in the game. The only correspondent worse off would be the Droid Engineer.

Long time but heres your answer yes I havemastered brawler, TKM, Master Fencer, Master Swordsman, Master pikeman.... Name is Doshu look me up in starsider if you dont believe me.... I think master brawler is worthless, why should I master and spend 48 extra skill points to get extra +5 skill each weapon, 3 specials (and none of them work right except intimidate2) not to mention time difference between4th line and the rest of the brawler skills....and thats my opinion, if you dont respect my opinion, you "as a person" are worthless...

btw Just because I have new member title doesnt mean I dont know about the game...

Master Brawler is worth it to me just for that one skill. You don't get any worthwhile special skill at master marksman like you do for Master Brawler. I would always welcome cool new changes, but am happy being master brawler, on multiple chars I have.
