whats the best way of getting these?
ive been afk killing alot of meatlumps and buying from the bazaar - but my macro is flawed at best anychance someone can give me a working macro that i can use to get me progress
(i know alot of people hateafk macro ing but after spending alot on the first lot i brought and not having a decent income source im kinda desperate for them as its the best way to advance )

The good thing about locked containers is that if you're not a smuggler their worthless junk.
While they're hard for an individual to find, it's usually not hard to find other people wanting to get rid of them. I also helps to be in a guild, and let your guildmates know you could use them. Pay them back later by slicing their stuff cheaply.

my problem atm is that people are pricing them at 3000 creds a time ( and when you need 20+ of them to go to slicing 2 thats costly )

There is no *one best* way to get as many as you need. I have seen them for sale on the bazaar, and never bought one. If you have a guild or group of friends, let them know to start collecting, as soon as you know your going for smuggler. Also yell out that you are slicing for free, visit player cities, and some people will have some collected. In one player city, a guy had about 10 for me to open.
And if you can get them, get molecular clamps, a lvl4 slicer can make them. it tells you at 100% which wire to cut. Yelling out that you slice containers at 100%, for free, gets some attention.

urm. any of them really. some say meatlump. they're as good as any I guess. But it's largely luck, man. I've been here since beta 1 and looted my 6th locked container last night.

Alright yeah I've gotten them off meatlumps in the past as well.
I just wondered if anybody knew of anything else.

Whats the best item u ever got outta a locked container?
Talkin about locked containers that u loot off of NPCs. Do they even have anything interesting in them? I got a leather shirt outta 1, and a stupid rebel plan in another. Is there even a chance to get a rare outta them?
Or are they just used to help smugglers on their way to slicedom.

Same as the person above me, I have gotten a few force crystal from locked containers. But i did go through quite a few locked containers in my Novice Smuggler days before I got them. All the rest of the stuff i got was always junk.
