One thing this game severally lacks is what wepaons were actually used in Star Wars. So, here is what I am proposing as a new Profession Whips. Why whips, you wonder? In Star Wars there were several various forms of whips to one which a Lady of the SITH used and electowhip. So why did not the devs make whips in the profession. Because they never went to Lucas Ranch and read Lucas' notes so with all these changes make a new branch whip is one used for whips. If all you are in favor of this proposition please sign.

Satan'sCircus read Star Wars Marvel Comics Issue #89 wouldn't you want that electrowhip which the Lady of the SITH has. She pulverized the whiney little farmboy. That electrowhip if Mastered would be second to the lightsaber. but should be a Master only whip which is why I think it should be hybrid only 1 profession is not Hybrid and that is Entertainer so to master electro whip need Master Brawler and Master Entertainer so that way Entertainers can do combat.

I dont know whips in swg sound kind of **edit** IMO I would rather have a more of a ninja assassin class that can shoot darts and throw weapons like in episode II with the bounty hunter trying to kill the queen.
I think there should be a duel weilding class in the brawler line which should have swordsman/fencer skills and should be able to weild 2 blades at once.

Belegaird did you know that the electrowhip is the second best weapon used in the Star Wars Universe read Marvel Comics #91 and watch the Lady of the SITH beat the little whiney farmboy down to a pulp was not for Luke having his father's lightsaber. Yes, the lightsaber which Luke chopped off at the second Death Star he would have died. So now tell me whips are lame.

you really like that comic don't you? That's the third time I've seen you mention it, second time in the same thread heh.

I'm not against whips, but what exactly do they have to do with entertainment besides a form including leather and latex outfits? I wouldnever want to play through entertainer in the local cantina for days, even weeks on end, to get to my desired combat profession.

When he says whips are lame he doesn't mean that they are not powerful in some Marvel Comic or other. Story tellers have always given us whips as effective weapons.

What he likely means is that whips are NOT weapons. They were never designed as such and are less than effective in that role. They take too long to wind up a strike and then just as long to recover it for another. They have limited range, inside this and there is next to no effectiveness. They are a lame.

Of course this is fiction so we can have Whips as weapons but as you say they are second only to Light Sabres. I wouldn't want to see that sort of weapon in a class short of Jedi. Because something is powerful doesn't necassarily make it cool. I would rather use my Gaderiffi than some whip and if I wanted something with Light Sabre like power I would just grind out Holocrons toJedi. If such an item is to be introduced to the game I would rather it be Jedi only weapon as an alternative to Light Sabre.

I for one, am a female. Secondly; you should read marvel comics, dark horse now made the reproductions in graphic novels so you do not have to fish out thousands of dollars. You will see more Entertainers have whips in Marvel Comics gee must have been Godly, George Lucas idea. And, SOE makes this game not Lucas Arts who have no clue what Star Wars is about due to over 2000 technical mistakes in this game.

Just as a note, George Lucas has little, if any, part in the making of comics. Those are the licensed products of other minds which Lucas scanned over and said, "Sure, why the heck not?" Lucas barely takes part in making the movies anymore. He actually wrote the first episodes, now he's narrowed down to directing and lets other people write the actual stories.

No thanks. I used to read the original SWcomics that Marvel had the rightsto (during the release ofEpIV-VI) and they wererubbish. New ones might be better but did George Lucas actually write them? More likely someoneelse did and it has had the Lucas stamp of approval...Making it official. Well You ever read the original "official" background to Boba Fett? Doesn't bare much resemblance to the one Lucas wrote for EpII.

So it'sin a comic, great, it should be in thisGame? No thanks. Maybe one day but should it take priority over all the bugs and missing features? I don't think soand please stopberating the devs because they haven't read some Comic book serieswhichdoesn't take place in the current time line for SWG.

I'm notentirely sure it's a good idea for anyone elseto read this series of comic books, seeing how obsessed you seem to have become with them.
