I will tell you all how I got unarmed EXP quite fast.. ( 1-4 in under 3 hours) You'll need somethings for this to work effectivley.. I have a 54% of enc slice advanced composite armor, and novice pistoleer novice medic.. What you do is you buy a couple stims group with a pet in town tell it to stay in town, then look around for monsters that are red to you with a speed sliced VK.

Once you find a monster take a pistol (high dmg one recomended) and shoot it with a health shot 1, and a health shot 2. right after that switch to your VK and hit it a couple times then either run away or stay there hitting it.. If you have a good set of composite you wont need to heal that often.. But let it bleed to death and if you hit it with your VK after you bled it.. THe bleeding should count at UA exp.. I got from UA 1-4 in under 3 hours.

This is a fairly shameless exploit and rather unfair advantages you over those of us who are actually brawlers

I'm doing the same thing as a Swordsman/Master Brawler, training TKA skills. I feel no shame whatsoever and I never touch a firearm during the whole process.

0) Use appropriate buffs and armor

1) Pull the target
If pull fails,
a. run away or let myself be incapped
b. equip power hammer and kill them all (no xp)
Otherwise

2) Intimidate 2
3) Warcry 2
4) Lunge 2 until KD
5) Equip power hammer and hit hotkeys for mindhit1/mindhit2 before I swing
6) Unequip power hammer immediately after mindhit1 and mindhit2 connect
7) Repeat Warcry 2 and use stims as necessary until target's mind pool bleeds to death
8) Collect 3k-5k Unarmed xp

Its not an exploit. Its a feature =)

You stated UA I-IV. I assume you mean Unarmed I-IV in the Brawler tree.

And VK must mean Vibro Knuckler, am I correct? And am I also correct in stating that Vibro Knucklers are certified at Teras Kasi Novice? (Or Artist, whichever way you want to look at it..)

Yes, VK are certified at TKA novice, but many unarmed brawlers use them. Even thoughyou don't get full damage, because you don't have the certification, you still get a speed boost to your attack, letting you hit more often. You will probably be hitting for at least as much as you would have without the VK, and you will be hitting more often. At least that is how it has been explained many times before. I myself, have not tried it, yet.

The pet part - if you are grouped (with anything, pet droid, other players), the experience reward for combat is increased (I seem to recall 30% - something on that order anyway).

The idea is to group with a pet and make it stay way out of combat range, so it won't 'steal' any of your experience.

I don't understand the pet part.

how can a unarmed brawler equip a vk..........don't you have to be novice tk??????

Do you need to have composite armor and have the skill health shot 2 to do this?

You have to be novice TK to be certified in it, but not to use it. You should be able to equip any weapon in the game I believe, and get a message saying something like you are not certified and the effectiveness will be greatly reduced.

nvm the pet part.. You dont need one =) its quite easy and fast. (to get higher bleeds put a power up on your pistol or the weapon you are using to bleed)

Alright to my last post about nvm the pet.. You dont NEED a pet to do it, but if your grouped with any sort of pet you gain an EXP bonus. You dont need composite or health shot 2 to do this. but with a full set of composite you can take ALOT more hits. And with healthshot 2 it makes the fights go faster.

And for the Vibro knuckler you dont need the cert to use it.. You'll do about the same dmg as you would w/out it, but you'll hit alot faster.
