Unfortunately, they can use them at novice brawler right off the shuttle port.
Why is it so unfortunate? I earned mine by doing missions till I had enough to by mine. I am only second tier unarmed geeez can you tell me why you think it is so unfortunate that a novice can get a decent weapon to learn his skill with. I think it is great that I dont have to use some klunky old rusty POS. If you want a weapon do you go buy a broken/worn out one or do you save your money and buy yourself a nice shiney one?
Same with the fact that I wanted a probot. I saved up the 25000cr doing lvl9 missions that pay no less the 2600 each on naboo. Getting my arse handed to me but these freeeking gnorts. But I earned It fair and square. All my old stuff I have I am not throwing away because I intend on hooking up a real life friend onece he gets the game installed.
With only one character per server and a plaayer run econ twinking really isnt an issue anymore and If someone has a problem with someone running around with a nice peice of gear, I think that can only be call jealousy. But then that Jealosy is Dumb because anyone can save up and get that same peice of equipment if they want it bad enough.
I pick shiney onethank you very much ![]()
Have a nice friday
yes but it is around 3k atleast on my server, so unless they have help (and i dont mind telling a newb wut to do but i cant stand people who give them stuff, i only think thats right in a PA or if u have a good friend ) so it will be a couple of days of intensive play before u get it

Newbie Brawlers should have brass knucklers. Marksman newbies do nothave access to a 145dmg 1.9spd weapon out of the gates, that happens as they approach specialist. The same should apply for Brawlers.
And when I was intermediate level, I could do (no VB's no armor mind you) simple destroy missions that paid 1200 credits. So you can earn 3000 credits in about 20 min.
This is mind you, only my opinion, and reflects nothing of the game developers.
Calm down about nerfing the class to not be able to use this weapon. It only means that you can level just a bit faster starting. It is actually fun to be a brawler at beginning after saving up 5k worth of cash (its 5k on my server).
If you are so into nerfing I guess now I can see how you got your position as a brawler correspondant, just say you want to nerf everything and they seem to accept your thinking.
I wouldn't care if they made it certify at intermediate, 'cause that's where scout blasters are, and scouts I've seen are about the same as Vibes, with cheaper specials.
I gave a friend a scout that costed less than the average vibe on my server (sliced), and he had intermediate pretty quickly from blasting gnorts and whatnot, the scout was like a (don't know the low end on a scout)-142, 1.8 speed.
Any marksman who's got a problem with vibes being overpowered needs to find a better gunsmith.
Sorry, Spaz is right and not only for the reason he listed.
You can say what you like but I want the correspondant for my class to be taken serieusly by SOE, otherwise he's no good to us, and a guy who would scream out for newly created characters to be able to use our best weapon while no other class can do this will not be taken seriously by the devs at all.
If you can't see the logic in this, sorry you are not the kind of person who will ever be able to get SOE to see the issues of this class, much less get them to improve on them.
Personally, I'd rather they removed knucklers from unarmed entirely. Unarmed should be just that, not "unarmed... with a weapon". wth is that all about? ![]()
Many of the martial arts, focused as they are on the use of your own body as a weapon, incorporate small hand-held weapons into the style. Furthermore, many martial arts moves can be enhanced with little or no extra training with the use of artificial devices. Which would do more damage: A hand strike with a bare hand, or the same strike with someone wearing a metal glove? Simple, yet effective, and the 'higher tech' world of SWG should offer correspondingly more effective enhancements - such as the knuckles.
