I'm a noob bounty hunter I'll admit, I did it once before, I was 0,4,4,4 working on invest, but after I got to about 3k invest xp I said piss on this cause I hated investigation and dropped it all. I'm currently reworking on bounty hunter and kicking myself in the ass for dropping it the first time (I exchanged that previous 3k invest for force xp lol). Here's what I noticed. They changed the amount of xp needed for level 3 and all the faqs are still saying the old amount. So its still 10k xp to get invest 1 and 2 and have 4k left over but the funny part is that you only need 10k xp now for invest lvl 3. So if none of your missions were bugged and you had 4k xp left over when you started working to get invest 3 you'd theoretically only need to run 18 missions (at 350xp a mission) now to get invest 3 from invest 2. I was talking about this to a good friend of mine cause he's an mbh and he feels really cheated. Just thought I'd point this out to all the people who want to do bounty hunter because the amount of missions to get 3 pretty much got cut in half. I have 8k invest xp right now so I should have my 10k very soon. Cant wait to start killin off those damn jedi.

Yeah I found that it is MUCH easier to raise INV line now. When I played we didn't even have the option of storing XP from Inv 0 to Inv 2. That was a hellish grind. Droids sucked and XP was pitiful. Its much better and more fun now.

well i don't know what the faqs say but it has always been as you decribed. You can get 10K doing Invest 0 mission, train 1&2 then you only need 6K for 3.

Just a painful heads up,

Missions towards investigation 4 give you approx 450xp per which means to get 18000xp you will spend 20 hours grinding. (It takes around 30 minutes to kill the mark and get back to the terminal). But hey, this is SWG. 20 hours is considered a healthy grind for one skill box in this brutal system the devs designed.

Christ, 20 hours is half aregular work week. In 60 hours, you can beat most of the final fantasy series games. Oh, the pain....

Levels of BH XP? Not sure what you mean. I'll try and post as much information as I can think of regarding this offhand, but if it doesn't end up answering your question, please just be a little more specific and I or someone else will be glad to help.

There is no such thing as BH XP. The proper name is Investigation XP. The way to earn this type of XP is to run missions from a Bounty Hunter Terminal. You of course must be AT LEAST a Novice Bounty Hunter to take a mission from said terminals.

The Investigation XP is earned based on the payout of the mission that you complete. You earn 1 point of Investigation XP for every 50 credits that you get per mission. So if you take a mission for 5,000 credits, theInvestigation XP that you would earn for that missionis 5,000/50 or 100 points of Investigation XP. There is no rounding either, so if you mission is for 5,001 credits, you still get just 100 points of Investigation XP, just as if your mission is for 5,049 credits, you still only get 100 points of Bounty Hunter XP.

Run-off credits don't accumulate either. By this I mean that if you run one mission for 5,030 credits and then run a mission for 5,020 credits, you will only get 100 points of Investigation XP per mission. That extra 30 and 20 credits do not roll-over to total up to an additional 1 point of Investigation XP.

Investigation XP is used to climb through the Investigation tree of Bounty Hunter. To get from Novice Bounty Hunter to Investigation I, you need to earn 1,000 points of Investigation XP. To get from Investigation I to Investigation II, you need to earn an additional 5,000 points of Investigation XP. To get from Investigation II to Investigation III, you need to earn an additional 10,000 points of Investigation XP. To get from Investigation III to Investigation IV, you need to earn an additional 18,000 points of Investigation XP. You do not need to earn any additional Investigation XP to get to Master Bounty Hunter.

At Novice Bounty Hunter you can run the first level of Bounty Hunter missions. Once you get Investigation I, you can run the second level of Bounty Hunter missions. Once you get Investigation III, you can run the third and final level of Bounty Hunter missions. This is also the level required to hunt Jedi.

If this didn't help, just let me know and I'll see what else I have for you.

ok. heres how i did it in 5 days.

step 1, turn on fox news and lock your door shut. (keeps you with it ) and stock plenty of drinks (ice tea in my case. hmmmm tasty!)

head to eisly, behind cantina and run missions there till you cap at 10,000 xp. Train to invest. 2

go to kaadara and run 16700 cred missions one after another, be sure its 16700+ or you wont get good xp. you HAVE to stick with it and keep chuggin. dont give up or say, "thats enough for now ill do more later" b/c you wont, you will drink alot and watch seinfeld all day. not that thats bad, but you want inves. 3 right?

Why Fox News? But yes, Iced Tea (preferably Arizona) is the way to go when hoarding your drinks. If you are a Rebel, I wouldnt recommend going to Kaadara, because you will get attacked by the stormies a whole lot... and thats not fun when you arent buffed, since the marks dont really warrant buffs.
