As a MBH its my job to hunt Jedi....But I don't hate them, not anymore at least....Every once in a blue moon that Jedi that thinks he is sooo much better then everyone else comes around......and I can't stand them. But most of the time Jedi will keep to themselfs in their own special way. I've often had my wounds healed by random Jedi. This post has no real...But I'd like to say this, if it weren't for Jedi then what the crap would us BH do with our time?

I honestly don't mind Jedi. Infact.. I married the alt of one in-game
Theres an exception... I hate Jedi though that creep onto our BH forums and scream about nerfs to our profession without understanding usor whine and complain about some kind of loss not realising that many poorer BHs do lose from decay on equipment when going into combat and that xp loss for us really means nothing.I wish they'd stick to their own forums and continue the tradition of making the Jedi forums the official whining forums of SWG. We don't need their trash here.
Besides forum whining Jedi.. and the smack talking Jedi.. Jedi overall is an excellent profession with a few good people.

I'm not really a Jedi hater myself. I only go to what extent within the game I need to. Since I'm a Rebel BH, I only attack Sith andeven that is a stretch sometimes.
The classes have mutual needs I think.

I can't very well hate the best part of the whole game even if it does usually lead to a free trip to the nearest cloner.

Just to provide a change, I DO hate Jedi.
ok, Not really.
What I hate is that now SWG is Jedi Central. I remember that Jedi were supposed to be rare, and that a Jedi Master was supposed to be able to take on 20 non-Jedi players and win. I hate going to Theed and seeing Jedi dueling. It's not a big thing, I don't get horrible angry when I see a Jedi, but at times, when I load into Theed to get something from a Vendor, or when I hit Mining Outpost on a Bounty and see people spamming about Spin Groups, I get inexplicably sad inside.

I agree with you JediRoq....I hate the fact there are so many jedi out there now. I remember when there weren't any at all. Those were the days

ANd i can definately sympathise with this statement. Long before the CU when permadeath was out and the FRS was in, I noted many many time how a good pvp battle with alot of combatants on both sides was ruined by the wave of Jedi that showed up. We just couldn't compete with them at all and i resented it. I resented trying to do some holo looting and grinding in the Weapons Dev. Facility and having to compete with a JEDI doing 'lightsaber damage" and force running all over the place and kill stealing and generally just being an a$$ by not 'sharing' ( typically when there was more than 1 muggle there, we would each just take aroom and camp it.. we didnt get as much but we all got SOMETHING).
And I remember in one guild i joined where the leadership expected every non jedi to play meat shield for the glowsticks and was a tad bit overzealous in that regard.
BUT... even as confident as i am now.. especially against BH. ( and yes i do resent them as a body as well, but thats only because the majority of BH that hunt Jedi are in it for the griefing.(that impression is based largely onthe bottom feeders that were so rampant post CU, due to the respec noobz, and before they made Player bounties a Master ability. How many low CL padawans were visted by BH's who took their mission solely because they wanted to grief a player they KNEW they could pwn.. and then proceed to humilate that player as if they accomplished something? I'm so scarred
) So yes i enjoy knowing a BH came all the way out to meet me in the middle of nowhere like he was some ninja stalker, unaware that i picked him up at 250m and was just twitching to send him to the cloner. I enjoy that. Sue me.
But Jedi are just another profession NOW. The only ones with any real power are the Pre-cu jedi with the relic sabers they covet so much and so vehemently claim entitlement to. The rest of us may have a few nifty tricks, But a BH with the right balance of skill preparation and patience can easily kill a Jedi ( i seem to just attract amateurs who expect to fly in , guns blazing, and walk out a winner). Maybe you cant generally take a prepared , experience full temp Jedi toe to toe.. but then you aren't suppose to. The melee tanks who have so recently become so popular compete very well with Jedi... they get all the right tools and equipment AND pure punching power.
Also, post CU jedi don't have near the air of elitism that pre-cu jedi have.. their just players out trying to have a good time..
Jedi isnt like another professions, in that... if you dont like rifleman, you can drop it and go pistoleer in just a couple days.... or any other profession for that matter. For a jedi to retemp is a huge time investment.. It's hard to say " well i wasted 7 months on the village, and endless xp grind , not to mention the months of grinding the jedi itself." Players only make that commitment on their PRIMARY character.. (unless they are just a glutton for punishment). So it's really not fair to begrudge them wanting to PLAY on that toon. I have 4 toons.. 3 accounts one unlock.. and though my buddies know most of em... EVERYONE knows me as ELISAR. This toon is 'who i am' here. So when i want to pvp, i break him out.. even though i have more success on my rifleman/SL/BH.
Jedi aren't the enemy. If they are, it's because the Bounty Hunters have made them so. Yes, Jedi know they will be hunted, but THEY aren't the ones who pull the mission. So maybe in all your angst, you will at least consider that much of the animosity between Jedi and BH was rooted in the Bounty hunters own actions. Until the anonymous missions, BH would specifically target low level padawans... that hardly invokes a spirit of sportsmanship between the 2 classes.
dang , thats more than i STARTED to say.

Well. first off. if the devs can keep pearls and crystals so rare...then why not jedi? gotta make u wonder. also, its sort of funny here cuz in the jedi forums, they say the exact same thing as you all. except, its all jedi. no joke, the SAME thing, but different forum.

Think it needs to be done twice ..QFE!
I've had a BH alt basically almost the entire 17 months I've palyed. It was the first elite profession I completed. I was so proud of that Master Bounty Hunter tag when I got it. Its what I came to this game to be,and will continue to be as long as SWG is here.
