I asked a CSR about this because it was being used against me, and the answer was, no its not an exploit to duel a friend to break stasis.

Dont listen to a CSR. because half of them talk bullsh!t im not one to give advice that may hurt the proffesion in anyway but it is a exploit the BH tef should stop any outside interfearnce Duels included

This was not a bounty hunter fight but normal PvP, so do u think its ok to do in normal PvP but not in BH vs jedi?

Your origional post implied that it WASa bounty hunter fight when you said "I pull a mission on a known cloaker/Master Enhancer", but either way its still an exploit.

1. Your using the duel mechanics for something it was never designed to do.


2. Your using 1 game mechance to BREAK another one.


3. your breaking the rules of BH tef by recieving outside help

It is very lame to say the least. Just as bad as jedi that use friendly duel db to get around BH jedi kill xp loss. As one poster put it : "your breaking the rules of BH tef by recieving outside help".

1. Rangers cannot CURRENTLY break cloak, however they will in the future.

2. Dueling somone else during a BH TEF is an exploit... no matter what your intention. BH TEF is supposed to overide all others. Just like a Jedi dueling a buddy so his friend can get the DB so he doesn't get xp loss. This is no different. Your duel is not supposed to be allowed because of BH TEF.

3. If this were GCW PvP..... it's grey area. You are not actually breaking a TEF, because you can still duel and do GCW at same time..... but.... I dunno. I've done it in gcw before.... and I didn't see the problem. Mostly because you are allowed to have friends heal you and aid you in gcw pvp.... but not in BH pvp.

4. BH / Jedi PvP is supposed to be 1 v 1.... not 1 v 1 + helper.
