I've been runnning some numbers on different templates. I'd be interested in what people think to the different templates I've looked at. What the (linked to) table doesn't show are the specials available to each template though.

Thanks for the posts so far. Unless anyone minds for some reason, I'll add any other templates that are suggested as we go
I hadn't added any smuggler as I wanted to minimise the skill point cost of basic novice boxes, and as you know smuggler intoduces a line of brawler.

I personally think M. Bounty Hunter, M. Pisoleer, M. Marksman, with Carbines 0-3-0-0 give you the best of all worlds... You get all the specials you need and you have enough speed/accuracy to use just about anything.
This is my exact template right now and I've been considering Master Rifleman in place of Master Pistoleer. My defenses are good and I can stand toe to toe with a lot of different templates but I'm not convinced that I'm dealing enough damage to make a difference.

I'll stick that one on. Gimme five mins...
(have to alter conditional formatting and stuff to add things in now!)

I run Master Marksman, Master BH, Master Carbineer with Pistols 0 0 0 3 on my BH.
