Thread: Yet another jedi abusing the TEF

Picked this mission up for 177k, tracked him down. Saw that he was in a city, so I waited near the shuttleport. After about 10 minutes of waiting, and being banned from the city, he finally showed. Needless to say, he started talking crap. So I proceed to whip out my CDEF carbine, and he gets real confident. He says "Ouch, this hurts.... lmfao", so I whip out my E11 MK2 and start pounding away. He gets real quiet, and the fights is on. Any how, to make a long story short. He only got my health down 1/2, and I only used 1 stim. He on the other hand healed 8 times, and was 3/4 of the way down, before running out of force. Needless to say, as soon as he ran out of force, he ran into one of his house. I say "That's right hide, I'll see you again.... soon". Anyways I pull my BARC out, and about 1k away from his house he sends me a /tell "Where are you going? You afraid?". I told him that I wasn't going to waste my time, if he can't fight fair. He said, "I only went inside to regen my force".
Thanks again Devs for making Re-specer's possible, and forgetting about us pre-CU BH's. Way to go exploits
I honestly think thatsome Jedi dont even think of this as an exploit. They are convinced that the devs deliberatelyput a method into gameplay to allow them to regen all their force and health back up to full in the middle of a fight while the BH stands around outside with all his foods and spices running out. This weekend I had a mark telling me it's not an exploit to run into a "Private" building, that it is a valid Jedi tactic and I should "Just get over it". Did the Jedi get release notes that weren't made available to the rest of us plebs?

Where is the TEF abusing??? He might have been abusing private building but not the TEF (and there is no such thing after the CU). Yet you have chosen wrong place to attacj and crying for exploiting...

Another poster exposing his ignorance to the world
look I personally only have a problem with house hiding if they engage me. I also had a jedi that did it THREE times ina row and the fight laster 2 horus (not joke). But he's not grinding and he's not getting xp. BTW he paid me to leave in the end and i got my money and he his little bit of xp, of which wasn't much because his time was took up by fighting me. IF they are hiding in house i wait...... and believe me i wait a long long long long long long long long time (well i play my alt and log onto my bh with the other computer. Then just have fun sit there and watch the other screen, if he moves booooooooooom
Just accept its a jedi exploit/tactic and stop him from grinding they usually always come out in the end because your wasting their grind time

There's no "wrong place to attack", troll. Houses can be planted almost anywhere and Jedi - conviniently - grind where they can place these (and of course other places where they can get bugged out of attackability).
Jedi should suffer incap if they move more than 100m away from a bounty hunter who hasengaged combatwith them, this pacifism sucks.

hmm, all jedi's use this exploit should they need to andif they get the chance..if i was to post the names of all the jeds who done that to me the forum would probably crash...
i blame soe as much as the actual jeds, they fix wot they wanna and leave wotever suits them..i bet they nerf been able group before they fix that tef..just makes me hunt even more persistantley though..
I remain sickened by the generalization that occurs on both sides of this battle. Not all Jedi use houses, just like not all bh use theduelexploit. My jedi has one house out in the middle of nowhere on tatooine. I have stood my ground and fought every time, lost xp and won respect.

I cant agree with this at all. Running is a totally valid tactic for a Jedi, it is equally open to a BH who feels he may be losing the fight. Likewise using a mobile home without counter attacking is also valid.
The point of this thread is that too many Jedi are cheating i.e. they fight till they are about to die, THEN run in a house to regen force, health and action, then come back out to fight as your foods/spices/buffs are running out.
You dilute a valid point when you make absurd statements like the one highlighted. A jedi that doesn't want to fight you isn't a bug, he/she is just a person that doesn't want to interact with you atm in the game. As long as they dont cheat to avoid the conflict then it is working as intended.
