I dont thik that was what was happening the Reset wasnt to zero. they would still be on the terms but at a lower price. The groups would keep taking the Mission. Also the Pady kept getting Ganked. For all intent and purposes We did doit to ourselves. Some BH are there to hurt others. Its not a Game to them its a way for them to be hurtful to others And get revenge for getting beatup in school or something. And as we all know the few ruin it for the many.
Now many will say I am a Jedi. And have to say I dont even have the first box in FS yet. And If the jedi had terms to hunt BH it would be the same. And they knowit.
I've taken a mission, killed the Jedi and returned to terminals and found the same Jedi's mission at the same payout. If vis isn't benig reset and missions coming off of the termianls then it's SOEs responsibility to fix it. Instead of addressing the real problem we have Pub. 20 ready to go live.
Honestly though, why would you wanna go after the same Jedi more than once a night? Unless your purpose was to grief/harass. There are too many Jedi throughout the galaxies to stick with bothering the same one over and over.Tired of tracking them toKashyyk you say? Not every Jedi owns ROTW and notall Jedi spend their entire online time there.
In the end it's the lazy BH that has brought us to where we are today. Those that want the quick easy money are to blame. Take the easy way instead of using any type of skill to complete the hunt is what they are best at. Can anyone say RESPEC BHs ?!

I die atleast 2 -3 times a day which cost me -190k'ish per kill. I can't solo hunt anything. And I've been killed 3 times since I unlocked 2 weeks ago on KASH. So how is it my fault I get on the terms.. grind on kash get seen. grind in a group get seen.. can't solo hunt cause to weak.Never was a big fan of jedi xp lost.. I personal belive that if they make jedi suffer with the xp lost for being a jedi.. then each faction stays on full overt and any player of opp. faction can attack them at anytime. Their own fault for picking a faction.. Also add that they drop a rank and all their faction points each time they get killed.
much like the old jedi argument -'learn how to hunt', I tell you to learn how to grind. There are plenty of ways to get great xp without getting vis. You can even do it in a group, if they are all friends and are willing to help. And I really do like your suggestion for losing rank and fp for gcw kills. I think that would be outstanding.

I fully agree with the sentence I highlighted in bold. But this sentence does not in any way support the same BH taking missions on the same Jedi over and over again.
The system was designed so that a BH gets shown 5 random Jedi he could go after and he picks one of those. Let me recap: The system chooses 5 random Jedi for the BH to go after. It is supposed to be a random chance for a Jedi to get a BH after him.
The system was used in an unintended way by using the random generator until the Jedi name the BH wanted showed up. Reasons for this were: Jedi being known as easy kill, money offered on player by players wanting to grief that Jedi, Jedi level was thought to be an easy kill for the BH - you get the picture.
Recap again: BHs used the system and declined the random missions until they found the mission they wanted. It is no longer a random roll for the Jedi to get a BH after him, but Jedi were almost guaranteed to get BH visits if some players hated them or they were low-level enough to be easy kills, to name a few.
So not the system decided who would be hunted, but other players. This opens up a huge door for griefing.
So yes, a Jedi gaining visibility after you killed him was supposed to be on the terms with the chance of a BH killing him again. But it was not intended that you take his mission again.
If you want to know more about it, open your in-game Holocron (Ctrl-H), and read the paragraph that defines "harassment". There the same BH going after the same Jedi over and over is explicitely stated as an example for harassment.

Both sides of the fence give valid points. As a Bounty Hunter, I have never took more than 1 misson on any given Jedi. Matter of fact I no longer hunt jedi at all after I unlocked. It seemed rather stupid to do to others that which I did not want done to myself. The system, as it was, was not good at all. Both Jedi and Bounty Hunters abused it untill it was no longer any fun at all.
My opinion is thus, I like to PVP on my terms, being forced into it is unfair for those of us that don't abuse the system. My jedi is unknown, I hide like a weenie, don't grind on Kash, the Warren or the Geo Cave. I hunt in the wilds. Because the system likes to randomly pop NPC's in my hunting area, while I'm killing a mob gives me vis. This happens all the time. Now I am forced to PVP against a trash talking, 12 year old Bounty Hunter. Not fun for me at all, due to the fact that now I have lost almost a week of grinding.
So yes hunt in areas of mass NPC's should get you on the terms, but random pops on you while you hunt on Dantooine should not.

The thing we all need to think about is this.....
If jedi is merely a longer grind does it merit that much greater power?
In my opinion, No.
Sure their power has been reduced somewhat recently, but if you talk to most finished templates they tell you there is almost no way a solo non-jedi could beat them. Also when you go after things like the DWB, Corvette or Necrosis..what profession do you try to get to help you? What profession is almost required to accomplish these things?
The only thing that was really hard in a jedi's life was the bounty hunters...and that is being reduced to a miniscule threat with combined publish 20 and Kashyyyk. I'd wager a bet that until they change things anyone can just unlock go to kashyyyk and finish their jedi nearly uninterrupted once pub 20 hits. What does that mean for the Jedi profession? It should mean something....but will it?
Anyone can kill monsters over and over. Look at some of the people thathave unlocked...or are even full template jedi. It's starting to be people you never imagined would do it. People that play 2 or 3 times a week at most. It cheapens the jedi profession. Post publish 20 it will be the most common profession in the game.
