has anyone ever tried playing something like halflife, or BHD when someone has an invisibility trainer running? you know, can't see them, cant target them, they pop in and out of existance when they like, couple of hits and hide again. why not give them infinate ammo...err done.....unlimited cash...invinsible....can fly....while your at it! since when could jedi become invisible, i didn't think they were magicians or conjurers of cheap tricks. since when did darth or luke 'dissapear'? then 'poof' there they are again!!

Since when did you forget this is a game and not the movie???? Also, you have to be 35m from a player to cloak, not just whenever you feel like it.

It is 20m, but you are right. If you attack a jedi in a city it is tuff for them to cloak. Also if a jedi has cloak they prob will not be doing much damage because they used the sp for cloak. Or they took some sp from there defence to get cloak. Be smart attack them at a starport or when they are in the middle of a lair. Hell even a speeder counts and they can't cloak. A jedi that has cloak is going to be weaker than a jedi without. Again just another non-jedi player that thinks every jedi has every skill.

hows about a skill in ranger, or a different tree of jedi boxes for find cloaked jedi - feeling the force for ripples or somthing jedi -ish. or like rifleman get within 1m and they appear - not too easy now as they are un-targetable.

You have to approach the problem both strategically and tactically.

Tactically, cloak may allow the Jedi to escape, thus "winning" the encounter.

BUT, look at the larger strategic picture. As the BH, you have the first-strike advantage and (mostly) tracking capability. Your seekers will continue toupdate his location. Furthermore, after your initial encounter (after the seeker if not on Kashyyyk), even if he gets away, you havehis name. That means you can use a Ranger to find him if he goes to Kashyyyk. You have three days.

Many Jedi run away, counting on the BH to get bored and/or frustrated and drop the mission. I've known Jedi who would hide for 3 weeks to avoid 2 hours' XP loss. You just have to be more stubborn than your target.

If you want BH'ingto beabout riding up, giving a quick beat down, and getting paid quickly, you may be in the wrong line of work. Use the time you're saving (not spending a half hour at the terms) to choose your time to attack.

Does anyone know how cloak works? Does it use force, can they do it in front of non-grouped players? Do approaching non-grouped players break cloak? For a non-Jedi this may look worse than it actually is when you don't know how it works.

Facts about Force Cloak:

- Initial Force cost
- Cannot cloak if anything is closer than 20m
- Upkeep Force cost dependant on number of NPCs / players within 32m.
- Cannot attack while cloaked
- Does not break when NPCs / players get within 20m
- Cannot be targeted while cloaked
- Area attacks to targets nearby do damage
- Attacking cancels cloak
