Thread: A Bounty Hunter's Complaint.
I have been a bounty hunter for two full years. I have a Jedi account as well. I use the Jedi more as a tool to train my Bounty Hunter and I have learned more then most of you Bounty Hunters will ever know if you dont have the same advantage. and Iam sure you all will and your perspectives will change. To that end I have acomplaint session to get off my chest. My next post will be how to kill a Jedi in a few easy steps. And when I say this I mean it very sincerely, all now all of you will beable to kill Jedi. Some of that is just its not your cup of tea, while for others its just a matter of time and experience that will get you there. But on to the session and I am mad this time but please read anyway. I am certainly willing to take the flak for this one, But I feel it needs to be saud from a Jedi and Bounty Hunter point of view.
Theres alway a whine from both sides. The Exploits/Cheating ones always get me but I have to question why it is that when we (Jedi) get killed by a bounty hunter the BH in question never cries nerf or exploit. But if I fight one for 45 Minutes and manage to evade because I can burst run indefinitely or I kill the BH in question, then there is an exploit, overpowered saber (which is quite impossible)or I'm just cheating? Again impossible in one to one combat on a server based game.My alt is a BH so I can post here as I believe I speak for both sides of the 35 and over 2 year veterans.?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

Point one.
Jedi can be killed. If you can’t kill em then you are either not cut out to be a Bounty Hunter or you simply haven't learned how to play your character. Pick your battles folks. If you are a new level 80 and your target winds up being a knight, you might just reconsider that Mission. If it’s a Guardian then give it up all together. And a Master? Never in a million years unless it’s a freshly bought Ebay Jedi learning his abilities. Choose your battles. One of the principalrules in the Art of War.
Pointtwo.
If you arecomplaining about not being able to kill a Jedi Knight for example, you might consider that Knight has played since dayone and unlocked his Jedi very early on. He probably knows his template inside and out and more than likely he/she isgoing to clean your clock. He/She isa knight. What makes you think that a Knight should be easy or even practical to kill by a standard bounty hunter? If you all think because you grindedPvE to get the master title of Bounty Hunter this makes youBoba Fett, then you are fooling yourself in thinking you are a Master at anything. It takes experience and death in PvP to truly learn howto win. More importantly how to loose gracefully and learn from it at the same time. For most of you bounty hunters you will never amount to anythingbecause you areyoung, inexperienced, and impatiently waiting for that quick kill of something that isamong the most powerful entity in the star wars universe. Booo. I’m sorry this game doesn’t have a God Mode forhelp youthough the tough missions. You actually have to think on your feet and use thatunused brain of yours.(That is for the kiddies as they are the largest complainers)\
Point Three.
I am an example of a good majority of Imperial Jedi at least. Iplay both a Bounty Hunter and a Jedi, and have now played that BH for 2 years, I am 35, a combat soldier in theUnited StatesMilitary andformally trained and experienced in combat operations, and I have been able to incorporate thisin to my play philosophy. I think fast on my feet, I adapt fast to change, I remain cool under pressure thenallowing me to appreciate this game for what it is. A game. These are the traits that most successful PvPers have learned and why they kill the little impetuousmoma's boys out there. This isn’t KOTOR with the easily initiated God Mode or Credit cheats. You have to earncredits to purchase theBE clothing and Foods required to win against Jedi. And if you think it’s to expensive, try seeing what I have to pay for simple food that augments my Jedi abilities to even bring me close to defeating a seasoned BH.
Point Four.
If you ever really wondered why you can’t seem to kill Jedi. It’s becausewe stand to loose a great deal by each kill. Especially Padawans. The fact that we loose 350Kin Jedi XP every time we are killed; this becomes one hell of a motivation to stay alive. Call it greed or what you will, butin the case of this gamethis XP loss or the loss of a SkillBox in the case of the Padawans, creates a level of desperation. Desperation is a Force multiplier when usedby an experienced tactician;more than likely you are not going to kill em if they can evade with force run or have master defender abilities. Eventually one might give up, but in my experience the Bounty Hunter has given up on me seconds before I was about to surrender to the DB. Maybe the day Bounty Hunters loose something equal to what we as Jedi loose, things will be different. But until them maybe you should write Sony and quit being the little whiners that you are.
And finally,
I noticed a comment about Holocrons. For those of you that make the statement that there is no way to kill a Jedi with 20 Holocrons. Fricken read the forums on the Jedi, FAQs, let a Jedi friend show you. Holos don’t work like that. To date I have never been able to get two to work in 24 Hours. Not that I really need them because asI know how to conserve my force and out last the Bounty Hunters feeble mind pool, but If I really need to I can do it once in 24 hours. I’m not done here and don’t bother trying to make me feel bad for stating all this. You whiners are pathetic and for the most part you are all rebels which aside from the adult rebels amount to about squat. You complainers make me sick. Complain about something worth complaining about. Like for instance the fact that Candles were fixed before the Y-8 quest. Get a life you teenybopping complaining little rebel monkeys. If you are over 21 you are ok in my book. This was only directed at those who complain because they cant play not for those with valid complaints. But there are few of those so most complaints arent valid from iether side.
Oh and by the Way. If you were unfortunate enough to meet face to face with a Jedi Gaurdian and and he hit you with I think someone said 6K in Saber damage. You were lying and even if you werent you got stomped by a Guardian. No S...!! You should be Killed by a Gaurdian in seconds flat unless you think you are a better BH than Boba Fett or his Pops!!! Get over it.
All of it condensed to that.... amen brother!
