Dola,

Isaid at the beginning of that very badly formatted first paragraph that I would be sharing my method for killing Jedi after my complaint session. And I will, but I want to make sure it isnt taken as malarcky when I explain it so I am making videos of the process to accompany the thread I will post in a few days. If I simply tell youthe procedure for killing them then you will call me out. So I wont post something until I have evidence to support it. Standard army training measures. Tell a story applicaable to the block of instruction (An example), read the text, do the task.

And as far as the FRS and no Knights, Gaurdians, or Masters. You are mistaken. There are more than 100 Knights with knights bonuses on the Corbantis server, a hand full of Guardians, and one or two Masters thatI am personally aware of. The FRS is currently on hold, but that has nothing to do with those who already attained the rank. So yes there are Knights and that would indicate that they are infact old timer players as they have been playing since before the Knight Trials were discontinued. This means they are not the guys you really want to think of as easy prey.

However I will share some basiclaws of the current bounty hunting structure:

Do not expect to win against a knight until you have died fighting many. Stay with Padawans until you master them, then move on to Knights and expect to loose alot until you find that comfy attack/food combination. The main thing is to keep them "Stated" and knocked down as much as possible. If you dont have armor break against a MDEF you are toally the wrong template. If the profession you use doesnt have armor break you might reconsider getting that right away. You should definately have a good root shot. I belive the best is the smuggler as you can heal rightin front of them and increase their anger level. Thenknock them down and open free willy on them with High Power Shots, Rinse and repeat. Speed is critical to your sucess and you will need to max your General Ranged Speed and weapon Speed to remain consistnt in your sucesses. Whatever weapon you use, it should be the very best you can possibly get. I reccomend getting you Speed stats and accuracy stats way up before you eveb bother getting a weapon made. In this wau you will know fromt he get go what your weapon can do when you examine it.

Most importantly you need to out last their Force Pool. This is the most tedious part of it all. Man it is a pain to be sure. But the fact is, the average Jedi is waiting for your mind pool to go. If that happens you are finished unless you can regain it some how.It is much thesame for the Jedi'sForce Pool. You are waiting for that to decline more then anything. Sure they might have a Holocron, but the fact is (and lets get this straight) only one Holo per day. The younger the Mark the more likely he/she used that Holo in an earlier grind.Personally, I only use mine if a BH is after me. I rather doubt that any Bounty Hunter can take me out Toe to Toe. Hasnt happened to date. But I am NOT your average Jedi Padawan either and I have hundreds of Millions of credits at my disposal. I dont thinkmany BH or Jedi can saythat. Im a big boy with a big pocket book.

Remember, the Jedi Knight or fully templated, highyl experiencedPadawan on averageIS andALWAYS will be more powerful than any single Bounty Hunter. And franky they should be, so try and accept that. If you have ever seen the movies or read any of the books you can immediately see just how fast and powerful Jedi Knights are not even mention thier Padawans. The fact is Obi-Wan and Qui-Jin deflected every single blaster bolt that came thier way and cut through solid metal blast doors with thier Sabers. If you think that should be nerfed just so you can kill Jedi, well thats not very realistic and not very likely to happen. So learn to enjoy the hunt star with and also the interaction with Jedi. I know I truly enjoy the fight with a Bounty Hunter who is level headed and polite (aside from the the Imperial Scum and rebel Scum comments) that are all part of the role play. But I often find myself assisting a Newer BH in his attempt to defeat me with alittle advice here and there. Why? Because I really dont care if I die its a game. Its the fight I lve for and death is simply a rest.

Learn to enjoy the hunt. Hense the name Bounty HUNTER. Not Bounty KILLER. Most of your job is tracking them from port to port, grind to grind, and eventually engaging them in an evironment where they can't easily run if they have force run II or III. If you even find an accomplished Jedi you are doing really well and should be proud that you could do that much. I know the average BH couldnt find me on any given day within his 3 day window as I know how to back track and I also know the timing in droid tracking speed. Im always mindful of that when I travel to a final desination. You always have your work cut out for you when getting them into a arena of your choice.

Again; choose your battles. I know I may be a traitor here to my Jedi Brothers on both sides, but attacking them at a grind location is optimal. Its sneaky yes, but a Bounty Hunter is no angel and shouldnt be expected by Jedi to be an angel anymore than a Sith should be expected to be a Knight in shining armor. Its a fair kill no matter what if you hit them with thier Health bar down to almost nothing in the middle of a Grind location. We chose to be Jedi just as you chose to be Bounty Hunters, so we have to take the good with the Bad. If you should ever kill me in "The Box" I will simply congradulate you and drive on.

I want you to also remember that at least in my experience, Jedi either were Bounty Hunters for the good Village Exchage Rate for Investigation, or they now play Bounty Hunters as they have the inside skinny on how to better increase their chances of taking a Jedi down. I know my professions have truly complimented each other in that regard and it does lend them a little insight to your tactics while you are not privvy to from your side unless you have unlocked and used your jedi enough to understand the strengths and weaknesses. And belive me; Jedi have their issues. If you loose to them it may just be because they were more experiencedor better PvPers. dont get Mad just learn from it. There is only one or mtwo possible exploits that can be used by a Jedi. Fact it even those exploits are sparactic at best and only work under certain conditions.

All new padawans are open season and fairly easy to kill using standard PvP tactics. They cant get the crystals and pearls anymore to make sabers that will do a lick of damage. If you can't kill a Padawan MLS/MDEF 4000 Healer, then you are on par with the fact that they cant kill a MBH/CM most of the time. Its a stalemate at best unless someone makes a mistake. However, most of the time Padawans are your best bet. They are relatively new. not too comfortable yet with thier force based powers and not likely to have the equipment, credit, or foods required tomaintain top performance. You can kill them with practice. Again expect to die alot before you get proficient. In the end you either will or will not become a good bounty Hunter. either way, its important that you give whatever you choose to master your best effort or you will NEVER truly be a mster at all.

This is just a warm up to the actually setp by step. I offer no guarantees to your success. Creativity and Perseverance are all up to you. But this game aloows for a broad spectrum of possibilities. Try and adapt your own personal play stayle and emmerse yourself in the game rather than complain that you are not an expert over night.

Thanks guys for taking the time and attention to this post. If you have any input please dont hold back. I suppose the flaming can begin as soon as you want.

And be weary of those who will tell you that they kill massive numbers of Knights and Guardians. More often than not they are FOS and cant be trusted for valid advice. Barggarts are always just that. Braggarts.
