Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: WOOT! A Round of Beers for EVERYONE!!!
Profession: Bounty Hunter
- Master Bounty Hunters should see more Elite level marks.
- Bounty Hunters should no longer be prevented from attacking their NPC bounty targets.
Vehicles
- There is no longer a 15-45 second delay on calling vehicles.
- Disabled AV21's andJetpacks can now be repaired at garages.
FINALY! We can use our jetpacks to swoop in on our Jedi targets w/out fear of them being disabled(permanantly). As far as more elites, its debatable whether or not thats a good thing. If you want loot, sure its good, but if you want to sell loot, its bad, as the more loot there is the less its worth. But anyWAY, that jetpack/av21 repair rocks.

Really? It used to be as fast as an av21? When did they change this? I havent really noticed a speed change on my jetpack, but I have raced any swoops lately either so cant say...

Other pros are:
1. No 15 sec time delay to pull it.
2. You "enter" it as soon as you pull it so there is no delay to hopping on.
Down side:
1. It is slower than a swoop.
But you are not negated by hilly terrain so I think in the long run you even out to the speed of a swoop.

I owned the second one ever crafted on Flurry and it was slower than a swoop even then (got it about this time last year). It is somewhere between a speeder and a swoop, closer to speeder I think.
It does go over hills nicely but unless they are steep ones you will not notice.
When I first got my Jet Pack I thought I would be able to do the race track on Tat very fast because I could just go over the hills and short cut it without any penalty. It turns out I was faster using my Av21 than the Jet Pack. So unless your on Dath or some other very hilly place your best off riding your Av21 when it comes to racing down a Jedi. But of coures you loose the Coolness factor if you do.
Here are a couple other bits that are nice for us:
- Slicing components will now auto-stack.
- Slicing Critical Damage will work correctly
Now if I could only get ON my bike when I need to chase a mark down.
for some reason, when I have a teff, I can't get on my own bike most of the time.

Interesting. Never heard of that happening. Have you bugged it? do you by chance have a high ping, or packet loss?
