Thread: Tanks, A dev stated that our first strike ability makes us equal to a full template jedi

It was stated at fanfset by a dev, that our first strike makes us equal to a full template jedi
- What are your thoughts on this? I think its bull
- Is there any plans to give us a modifier for our first few attacks to truely make first strike worthwhile?

Not bull. You can pick when and where the fight will take place. Stalk your mark and wait till the Jedi is weak. Dont expect to start a fight that turns out in your favor as soon as you arrive at the waypoint your seeker gave you.

If you do this, please expect the following response from the jedi:
"omgwtf u suk lol i cant belieiv u wud be so laem to atak me whiel im week u gota wait and not be cheep lol."
At this point, I usually /addignore them, so I don't know how it finishes.

No we dont pick when and where anymore, We get to target WP, find a group of jedi, tab tab tab tab tab tab, found him. He has already /dueled us, knows we are after him before we do, and FR away.

No we dont pick when and where anymore, We get to target WP, find a group of jedi, tab tab tab tab tab tab, found him. He has already /dueled us, knows we are after him before we do, and FR away.
Who stops you from leaving and returning 30 mins later, still holding his mission?

If you are rifles, use avd. snipershot. Great first strike to start with. If you snuck up on them correctly, you can slip in a KD before they even notice their health meter is low. Of course I use cover skill to get in close. After Pub20, sucks for all you non-rifle guys because you will be to busy tabbing to worry about a first strike. During which time your mark is either running at you like he has "Mad-Jedi Disease" or he is running away to his safe house or speeder.

But you have his name, so nothing changed from pre-pub 20 then. He will be online within the next 3 days, unless he is really paranoid.

I guess when the statement "Fully templated Jedi will be 1.5x powerful than a non-Jedi" becomes true as well then you might have an arguement.

Well for one the /duel needs fixed
Even if he does FR away you can catch him or root him
You do pick whane. Wven if he does escape you can still follow your quarry and catch him off guard

heres a cool thing i do when i kill jedi just type this /die; another kill for the cause
and if he asks what the cause is say killing jedi

id rather grind jedi from CL 1 using a sparkler and in my underwear.
