I think Citybanning is abosultely nothing to cry about. If you were attacking Members of my city in real life and I could post pictures of you to keep you from using my goods and services, I totally would.

i think cityban should only work for like a week or 2. Being banned from a city for your entire swg life is silly.

I mcity banned from so many cities I lost count. I get banned just for walking through a city now. Its amusing and even an honor in my opinion! I just swoop to the next city. They dont want my credits, fine, Ill spend them elsewhere!

If you are trying to harm the resident of my city, I will ban you. Simple as that - strangers dont come to my city to harm residents.

Banning does not help if the BH already is in town, though - but it will prevent the BH to have fast access to the city via shuttle in the future. This directly translates into more time needed to complete a BH mission, and if the BH is banned in enough city, this will lower the amount of Jedi the BH can kill in any given period of time.

And before you complain about it: From an RP perspective, BHs are among the worst scum of the galaxy, dont expect to be welcome in civilized places - youre a cold-blooded killer after all, why would people like you? They never know if you are not there to kill them.

I guess the phrase "You knew you would be hunted when you became Jedi and got on the terms" could be rephrased to fit this topic

I will not ban anybody just because he is sporting a BH tag above his head or in his bio, but if he starts shooting others in the city he will get banned (unless its a friendly, consensual duel).

It is all about protecting their own. I know I am banned from many a city lol.

I would soooooooo hand out "ban on sight just to be sure he stays banned" lists to the militia

Seriously, you got banned for a reason, if you want to be unbanned you can always talk to the mayor or the militia of the city you got banned from. A lot of them will unban you as long as you can reassure you wont do the stuff that got you banned in the first place again.

This is one of the reasons why BHs should not hunt both factions - eventually they will lose access to equipment providers.

I Think City ban shuld let you attack the Banned one. Kinda like BH/Jedi Missions, I cant attack the mayor till he shoots me first.

Easy solution to the city ban: mail whoever the mayor of the city is and inform them(not threaten, just inform them so they'll be aware of theresults of THEIR actions)that to discourage cities banning BHs belonging to your guild:

*they(the mayor) will be banned from your guild's city in response

* all membersof their guild(anyonereported sporting their guild's name)will be banned

* they(the mayor)and all members of their guild will be banned from any city run by friends of yours or friends of your guild.

Most likely they will be willing to unban you rather than have themselves and their guild banned from multiple cities all for the sake of banning one BH.

I used to have my Jedi (in the militia) cityban the BH coming after him to make it that much harder for the BH to escape!
