Hey gang, tried asking jedis bout this on their forum...not much of aa response...is it a fast recharge?

saberthrow has no warmup and a moderate cooldown ... jedi can use it about every 2-3 sec it seems.

christ then that may be a problem for a pistol xx3 for me....

Saber Throw isn't a very high damage attack in my experience.

Oh yeah its jsut like underhand shot, but it can become irritating when i use stopping shot...

It only KD's at the Master box. non-master saber throw doesn't really do much damage at all. Even the master level one isn't too bad, it just knocks you down.

I know that.....im worried about the knocking down part when i use stopping shot it can ebcome a pain in the rump.

advanced saber throw (master box) does slightly more damage than main saber attacks (saber head hit, leg hit, body hit).

I had read somewhere that Advanced Saber Throw was a MLS Jedi's second most powerful attack. Is this wrong?

you are correct, only powerattack does more damage than the master box saber throw

Thanks, I thought maybe I was slipping in my old age. On a side note - what's the action cost associated with this special in comparison with the other LS specials? One tactic I'm entertaining (if it's more action intensive) is to hit them with hemorrhage and then kite around while remaining in Saber Throw range to force them into wasting action.

nope - any "held" sabre attack is stronger, but the throw has range. it can KD approx every 28 secs, same as underhand or root
and unless the jedi has/uses root&snare, i wouldnt worry about it, just dont stand toe to toe with him
